Description:

1971 Ford Torino

A Very original 1971 Torino G, original 429 CJ, 4sp, Grabber Blu, All original survivor, the car still retains all of its original equipment except the carbureto, it runs and drives pretty goo, and has a ton of powe, transmission shifts perfec, the car is a survivor so it has its fair share of dings and dents and the paint is mostly original aside from the hood and front fenders by the looks of things from a front end collision early on in its life with an amateur repair but obviously not a bad wreck as the hood is still original but you can see where they pulled it from the underside and the passenger fender was replaced , very little to no rust on this ca, very comparable to a west coast car not an east coast rot bo, the cowl is perfec, if you know these cars you know what I am referring to, wiring is all original and does not appear to have ever been butchered u, original radio still in das, even the cigarette lighter works in this thing, dash pad is cracked console is cracked by lid hinge and the drivers seat is torn but the rest of the interior looks great the 4spd top plate is fantastic still retains the original shifter and even the correct original H pattern T handl, if you are looking for a nice complete solid original CJ Torino this is a great candidate for a nice resto as there is nothing to chase except the elusive Rochester carburetor .. I bought this while looking for a CJ Ranchero thinking it would pacify me but unfortunately I simply cant fall in love with it as I had my heart set on a Ranchero so I am going to sell and go back to my Ranchero hunt... serious bidders/questions can call me at 203-305-0527 Chuc, please don't waste my time or yours if you are not serious as I really just want to sell a car not argue with people … please don't text me because I rarely check them and almost never respond to them... car is located in Connecticut where it has spent its entire life within a 20 mile radiu, car is registered and insured in my name currentl, I have not driven it since the spring of this year, it drives well but the front end needs an alignment pretty bad as the camber is way out although it drives straight as an arrow so I would not recommend a long road trip in this car until that is done but I only drove it locally so it really didn't concern me.. again questions call 203-305-0527 Chuck Thanks and have a great Thanksgiving ….
