Rust-free car with a New Paintjob of the correct Silver Blue Metallic color. All original glass (with Carlite engravings). Runs, drives, and stops very well and does not overheat. Numbers matching original 289 engine and C4 transmission with the original Rebuilt 2-barrel Autolite 2100 carburetor with loads of work done to the whole car listed below:

General Work Including New: Floor pans (Interior and trunk), Exhaust (Flowmaster Super 44s with 2.5-to-2" exhaust with original headers), Drum brakes (All 4 wheels), Tires (Only 300 miles on them), Front and rear bumpers and bumper guards, Fender ornaments and Fender/Hood emblems, Shock absorbers (Front and Rear)(KYB Excel-Gs), Leaf springs and bushings, Cloyes Timing chain and gears, Harmonic balancer, Oil pan, Oil pump, Oil Filter, Fuel pump (and filter), In-line fuel filter, Fuel sending unit, Gas tank, Gas cap, Battery, Spark plugs, Spark plug wires, Ignition coil, Distributor cap, Radiator hoses and clamps, and freshly painted original gold air cleaner and valve covers. Rebuilt original heater box (All new gaskets and new Heater Core). Nearly all engine gaskets have been replaced including the: Intake, Thermostat, Water pump, Timing cover, Oil pan, and Valve cover gaskets. Major external engine components and the original radiator have also been repainted with Ford Semi-Gloss Black engine paint.

Interior Work Including New: Upholstery (Front seats, Rear bench, and Door cards), Repainted dashboard, Dash pad, Seatbelts, Instrument Cluster bezel, lens, and voltage regulator (Mounted to original gauges and mechanicals with repainted red needles), Ignition switch cylinder, Headlight switch, Carpet, Rebuilt and repainted original center console with new wiring and chrome trim pieces, TMI hump-hugger armrest with cup holders and storage compartment, New Speaker, Antenna, Rearview mirror, Glovebox compartment, Beltline weather stripping, and Steering wheel, with Repainted original steering column. Refurbished original radio, and Polished original dashboard chrome knobs, levers, and trim.

Only Modification done to the car is an underdash AudioVox AM/FM converter from the 1970s.

Only Issues: Small hole in the original headliner near driver's sun visor that could probably be patched. Turning indicators do not work, but we tested the wiring and traced it back to the turning indicator switch. Transmission fluid leaks a bit, but the transmission pan gasket is the culprit, as it is the original gasket. All of these are relatively easy fixes, but I have run out of time and money to repair them.

This Mustang has run a pattern of being driven for a bit, then sitting in a covered area for a while, resulting in the 29,000 miles. Keeping the trend going, this Mustang has been purely garage-kept for the past year as I have worked on it. Its original owner, "Shorty, "? was a member of the Mustang Club of America and took it to car shows in the 70s and 80s. It has a Texaco service sticker in the driver side door jamb that shows it having 24,000 miles in 1997. Inside the trunk, the original jacking instruction sticker can be found, as well as a period correct spare tire and the original jack, tire iron, and lug wrench.

I am selling this Mustang because after spending a year working on it, I am ready to start on another project car. I am also selling this car bundled with all of the original parts and bolts I took off of the car and replaced, as well as new front springs that you can install if you would like.
