1940 Ford Deluxe Hot Rod Coupe
1940 Ford Deluxe
This 1940 Ford Deluxe Hot Rod Coupe is restored period correct as a traditional late 50's California Hot Rod. It is lovingly constructed entirely from swap meet and salvage yard parts, none of which were made later than 1962. It is running, driveable and it's a beauty. The vehicle has been restored by it's owner who was an expert. It has always been garaged, well loved and cared for. It's a show car that is true to the spirit of the hot rod culture of the era. The vehicle is well respected and was featured in a photo spread in "The Rodder's Journal" No.6 1996.
Due to it's age, there's no way we can guarantee 100% perfection but can say you would be getting a great car in fantastic condition. Please review all pics and ask questions before bidding as. Car is sold As-Is. There was a faulty starter which we replaced so that folks could easily test drive the car. The mechanic who recently installed it said the underside looked great and he'd be happy to answer any questions. Other than that, the only thing to mention is that this is not a recent restoration. The last major work on the car was completed in 1993. I have more pics and a few videos of it running. Inspections by appointment only.
