1985 Ford Ranger

I have for sale a Fuel injected (first year of) 1985 Ford Ranger square body that has been completely gone through. It is a 2.3 4cyl 5 speed and has the 7' bed. Has the vinyl bench seat and the rubber floor mat. All is original inside and out with one exception being the motor and items replaced.

Totally overhauled Iron Duke 2.3 4cyl, Pistons, bearings, rings...

New Timing Belt, tensioner and crank gear.

New water pump, New Radiator all gaskets replaced, oil pan, head, etc.

New Starter & Distributer, Plugs, Wires & Cap

New Clutch, Throw-out bearing, flywheel. Trans gone through.

New Gas Tank & Sending Unit

New exhaust (new Pace Setter Header), new muffler new o2 sensor, EGR bypassed.

New 235/70/14 raised white letter tires placed on Shelby Cal 500 aluminum slots.

All new hoses, vacuum lines gone through and replaced if needed.

All new Intake gaskets/Intake cleaned and gone through.

All new window and Door seals/window felts.

Replaced hood and tailgate, but have original ones if wanted.

Have receipts, 85% of mechanical/machine work performed @ Jim's Automotive and affiliates.

Also have a set of extra winter rims/tires so you can put the Slots away in the winter!

This truck is clean outside, inside and underneath. Yes over the fender wells have rust that patch panels could easily fix, and one spot on passenger side rear of bed, but the inside of the bed and the frame and underneath of this ranger are clean, some small dents and dings, paint fade(She's 33 years old). Truck is originally from Virginia and still has inspection stickers on the windshield. No cracks in any of the glass and still have the original keys (one for door locks and one for ignition). This truck will last forever and best yet...no E-Check!!

Put a paint job on her and you have a new 1985 Ranger. Or take your time build a 302 and c4 trans while you drive.

Only two bad things, radio does not work and for whatever reason I replaced gas tank and sending unit and the gas gauge only works between empty and ¼ tank.
