1987 Ford Mustang LX

Car was built as a 1/4 mile car with outstanding potential. Due to my career in the military, I'm unable to use the car. Over $25,000 invested with newer paint (just a couple years old at this point) and a 393W stroker motor from CHP (Street Fighter block). Car has been down the 1/4 mile track only a few times; due to my work schedule I haven't been able to take it anymore. Motor is very strong with a Lunati Cam .576/.592 lift, AFR 205 heads, Holley Street HP 750 d.p. Other additions to the car include a C4 trans with a 3500 stall and manual valve body, S&W Race Cars 9" Ford rear with disc brakes, 3.90 gears, 31 spline axles, Lakewood 90/10 front struts & 50/50 rear shocks, tubular rear control arms, weld-in sub-frame connectors, Hurst line-lock, Weld Pro Star wheels 15x3 1/2 (26x7.5x15 Sportsman Pro tires) and 15x8 (275/50R15 MT Drag Radials), weld-in 8 point roll cage, AutoMeter Gauge Cluster and 5 point harness (expired for track use). New carpet and headliner made by local upholstery shop. Door panels and rear seat delete are aluminum.
I'm only selling due to my career limitations on storing and actually using the car. So, whoever buys the car is getting a great deal considering what I have already put into it.
