In other words, Models Not Included But included with this sale, the winning bidder that does complete thetransactionwill receive all digital photographs of the vehicle and the models if they want them. If you want to make a deal, pick up the phone and talk your serious offer. 702-353-7500 Before you send me that awful question, "what's your reserve or bottom line", let's take a moment to explain market values and how to get a deal on eBay. There isn't any "Book Value" from the Kelly Blue Book or NADA Guide on a car like this. Figures both selling and buying for cars like this are subjective in nature and the only number that counts, if you are the seller, is the one from a serious buyer that makes you an offer. Over 29 years in thebusiness, dealers like myself, buy and sell by looking at what it must have taken to build a car like this and take a rough guess as to what someone might buy it for. Do I have an asking price, sure if you want to hear me shoot at the moon, but that number will have nothing to do with what you may offer whether that's higher or lower. That is why we sell exclusively on eBay and at other reputable auctions. The numbers or offers come from the buyers that are serious and just like me, make their own minds up as to what they are willing to spend. We arehere to sell cars. With fourteen yearsexclusivelyon eBay and perfect feedback, it's obvious we do. Real buyers with serious offers in mind, always call us. They almost always want to talk to the person in charge; that's me. I want to talk to you too and help you own this awesome vehicle. It keeps me in business. So, if you want a fantastic vehicle like you see here, one that is far above the average in condition, serviced and documented like this, simply call. Asking through email for my bottom line? Well, I just think you're not too serious or willing to make an offer; makes it a waste of my time and yours. If you just want to know what the market value is, do what we do, look atthe car closely and the build and note that it would cost about $200,000 to build a car of this quality. If you want to build one from scratch, it'll easily cost you that and about four to five years in time, or make a fair offer for one already built and save a chunk of change and time. Most important though, since you "are" a serious and capable buyer, call me and let's talk. I don't wear a Plaid Coat, I don't talk really fast and I am the guy in charge, the owner, enthusiast and purveyor of some of the finest cars on the internet...not to mention the best thorough presentations. Let's make a deal...Call me Doug 702-353-7500 Oh my goodness, where do I even start? OK, focus on what I am writing for now, then you can get back to the fine photography. First, there is nothing like finding a classic muscle car where you get to talk with the original owners, or at least the son of the original owners that bought it brand new. You will see in the pictures below, I posted a couple images that I took from the owners family album. His mom and dad, both pictured with this car back when they first bought it. The car started life out as a true GT Fastback, Wimbledon White exterior with a black pony interior, chrome styled steel wheels and two very proud owners who kept the car until the late 80s. In the early 90s it was passed down to their son, the same that I was able to buy it from. I am sure it's not hard to notice, but the car is far from it's original days of the 60s. In fact, aside from the body, almost every single bolt, nut, screw, component after component and more is new on this car. The son, known for his custom car builds both street and track would spend the next two decades building this special car with almost no restraint on pocket book. Just for example. back in 1996 he completed the paint and body for this car at over thirty two thousand (receipts included). In today's money, double that figure. I have gone over all his work and receipts and could easily estimate this build well into the six figure mark easily. I asked him why such a special car could be sold. he replied, he had been around this car since 1965, spent decades building it to perfection and is was so nice, he rarely pulled it out of the garage and the wife was eyeballing the garage floor space for her car. Sad to say, but that was a good day for me. I love finding cars like this. When I bought the car, there were just a few things I wanted to change. The interior had to be redone. It had custom finished gray velour seats that he had redone out of a 1994 Mustang GT, the driver's seat is power and he had the floor lowered inside to accommodate the height and powered them as well, but the two tone gray and red piping was to 90s and we just had to modernize the interior, The stunning results show for themselves. We had our incredible upholstery shop in Las Vegas, completely re-fabricate and build these seats with perforated inserts, leatherette surrounds and inserted with original Pony shoulder bars. Front a rears completely brand new. The seats turned out perfect and the new Corso steering wheel tied in for a real class act too. Everything else in the interior is also new, from the ceiling to the floor and everywhere in between, new. Rubber, felt weather seals, all new. There isn't a single aspect to this car that doesn't appear like brand new anywhere. But it doesn't end there. Finally bit the bullet and had to have the custom built for this car, the American Racing Shelby Cobra VN407 two piece racing wheels. The rears needed custom insets and widths to fit snug into the shortened rear end and tuck perfectly under the rear fenders with the maximum tread seen with the badass footprint of a 275/40ZR17 Nitto Tires. The first thing you'll notice about this beauty is her STANCE.... Yes, perfectly posed to give the onlooker that understanding that this Pony is more than just a gentle ride. When I came upon the opportunity to buy this car, all I had was a few pictures of what appeared to be a beautiful Mustang Fastback with a 4 speed. First and foremost, they are getting very difficult to find and own. Nice ones, even more so. So, with caution due to the lack of quality information, I made my trip to view the car that had a proud price tag on it. When I showed up to meet it's seller, there was no question from 100 feet down to 1 foot of initial inspection that I was not going away without the prime ride. Lines were laser straight, paint finish in Candy Apple Red the same and it just kept getting better and better. The interior for me was the only distraction. When he opened the hood to show me the masterpiece nestled within the shinny engine bay, it was all over and I hadn't even started the car yet. 30 minute later and a deluge of $100 bills, I held the title and buckled myself in for the long ride home. Satisfied doesn't even describe my joy with this car! Full On Ecstatic like a kid in the candy shop may be too soft. And that is exactly how you will feel too. Satisfied and proud to own this spectacular Pony. Read, view and pour over hundreds of pictures. We don't hide anything and we have years of satisfied clients as you can see in our feedback. This is not an average restoration or build, it is a high quality, super high end pro-touring road ready Mustang Fastback GT A-Code. The quality of this build can be seen up close and appreciated and we show that in our pictures, details and disclosure so you can feel confident in making an offer that can buy this car. If you want this car like I did when I saw it, then make it rain $100s and watch how excited I get to see you win and own this car. That is what I am about. People ask me all the time, "have you ever wanted to keep one?" Of course I have, like this one, but I love selling dreams and seeing people reach them. I get them, drive them, show them, meet great new friends with them and get to have all the beautiful models pose with them for a permanent record of my fabulous collection of thousands of cars over the last 13 years. You get to do the same if you want...or just sit there and wait until someone else calls me and makes an offer that buys your dream. Nah! Pick up the phone to make your deal with me, you won't get figures any other way unless you bid and hit the reserve. Good Luck and talk to you soon. Extreme Quality Resto-Mod, high-end pro-touring 1965 Ford Mustang GT A-code Fastback. The quality of the paint and body cannot be underestimated. Doors open and shut flawlessly, better than new as they are insulated, tight and perfectly aligned. The paint finish, although it was completed back in 1996, looks like it was done two weeks ago. Perfectly cut and polished, this kind of quality you would have to pony up 60k large to get looks this good. There are less than a handful of tiny touched up chips and blemishes but NONE that are unsightly or need repair...unless you have to have perfection. What I am saying is if you were grading the paint on a 100 point scale, 98-99 would be exaggerating the beauty and quality of this finish. The car was noted in the receipts as completely media blasted too. This is NOT your average paint finish. It's truly a show winning one percenter. The metal workmanship on the rolled fenders to house those big tires, simply ART. Most shops that roll fenders don't even begin to match the quality you will see in my pictures below. It's worth the look. There are so many extreme details just in the body and paint that I could spend another paragraph on it alone. Suffice it to say, it's show winning. The trim details are too cool as well. A modern take on the window trim in a satin black finish that didn't come cheap . All frames were dismantled, prepped for the body shop finish in black satin and it is stunning. The bumpers, outside mirror and taillight surrounds, the only chrome left. The trim looks perfect still too. No dents, scratches or peeling since it was done right. Another way cool detail, the LED sequential taillights that came with the car, but we had to match that with the LED perimeter surround halogen headlights. The LEDs in the headlights come on with the original GT fog light switch. Great for running lights. Note the rear GT exhausts too. Those are dummy pipes sticking out the back, the Flowmasters under the car outlet just before the rear axle with a sound that is menacing to say the least. The drop in the suspension, the additional suspension components in the rear didn't leave room to fully extend the pipes to the rear of the car. If just seeing the rear stance of this car wasn't enough for you to pull the trigger, I don't know what it'll take. Packing a P275/40ZR17 12" wide tire into a Mustang rear wheel well takes some serious engineering. First start with a narrow rear end axle, add disc brakes, modify the rear leaf springs to allow for the curve of the tire not to rub and roll the rear fender flawlessly like it would have been done by the factory and you can fit those meat under there. It just screams to me MUSCLE POWER. Every inch of the mechanicals are new. All new steering and suspension and power steering with every single link, bolt and (poly) bushing replaced. Car lowered on fresh heavy duty racing springs with new shocks, rear sway bar and a huge front sway bar. Doors, hood and trunk close solid, windows roll down smooth and all glass is crystal beautiful . . . I haven't even begun to talk about the engine in this car, yet this picture states it perfectly . . . Seriously badass! Every brake line, every vacuum hose and every fuel line is new with all new rubber isolated attaching hardware. Lights, wipers and mechanical features all function smooth and new. Exterior trim is perfect with no pitting and all lenses are bright and clear. This Mustang's potent curbside swagger exactly matches the sizzling performance and modern reliability its Hollywood good looks suggest. Acceleration, handling and braking all live up to the image projected. The interior was the frosting on the cake for us. I spent a huge amount to get a look like you see here. Looks almost like they could have been there from the factory...and in a sense, they are. The original seats here were taken from a 1994 GT Mustang. Fully functional too. The Mustang Pony Head on the step sills lights up when you open the doors, way cool. Brand New interior with matching door panels, and a Corso Wood steering wheel finish this spectacular interior. Digital Autometer cluster with new interior lighting, Pioneer Amplified AM/FM/CD stereo with front and rear speakers and auxiliary connections. Carpet, head liner, dash pad and all interior lighting crisp and sparkling . . . The original feel of a 1965 Mustang is preserved with carefully considered upgrades and restraint. Even the ash tray was media blasted and painted with the new interior paint. And now for the Muscle! RHS (Racing Head Service, Inc) Professional Build 414W Stroker V8 Engine Out of the crate, a 400hp+ motor with 470lb Torque Stock and this one is not stock. Visually...STUNNING! Screams muscle just with looks, ignite it and this monster breathes fire. The valve cover alone are Roush, milled and shaved clean and cost over $2000 to buy and finsh with the custom breathers that escape into the exhaust below. The list of work put into this motor reads like a book. Item after item, big money, no expenses spared and the fine details in connectors and finish work, second to none while still maintaining a vintage muscle quality. But nothing here is vintage, it's all new, less than a 1500 miles on the build. Nitrous has never been used although it all plumbed and fully capable with a button inside the car. Fill the tank and hit the strip. Heads are Cast Iron Dart heads and wait until you see what under the valve covers. Pure Automotive Art. I took close up pictures so you can also see the details. That bracket is a one off custom make aluminum bracket. Look at the hex head hardware all throughout the engine bay. For you that build motors and cars, you know what I am talking about here and it's just isn't looks. Big Peso! Receipts show the radiator and tanks as full custom build units. Nothing cheap here or anywhere for that matter. A custom built and chromed Hi-Volume Oil Pan. Monte Carlo bar and Tower Frames, custom for this car. Top Loader Four Speed fully rebuilt was also original to the car. The Hi-Performance Mini-Starter not so original. Had to have them too. I bought the car with regular headlights, but had to match the LED taillights with these. Nice Upgrade. That buttery smooth paint finish is all over the entire car and the felt and rubber weeather seals throughout, all new. The trim with set this car apart from the crowd. Really defines this car. Lighted Sill Plates Complete disassembly and replacement of all steering and suspension system pieces with new springs, shocks, poly bushings, larger front sway bar and installation of rear sway bar . . . Undercarriage showcases the exceptional quality of this build All new fuel and brake lines, new parking brake system, new fuel tank with steel line and dual exhaust with faux trumpet tailpipes. Frame Connectors are a high quality installation, even bent and welded to match the contour of the floors. Scatter Braces times two Even the lug bolts are racing quality heavy duty Ford's Notorious 9" with a 31 spline - Freeway speeds in the three digits are fully achievable. That's some details you won't see to often, Shaved clearance to allow monster tires. Rolled fenders that are some of the finest I have ever seen on a Mustang. At the top of the fender, he fabricated and installed a protection barrier to keep the top side of the fender from damage. Wish the factory had thought of those. The lower front fender support is also another great modification to keep this car at peek performance. VIN Decode: 5R09A227502 | model year | 5 | 1965 | assembly plant | R | San Jose, Califormnia | body style | 09 | Fastback 2+2 | engine | A | 289/4v 225 horsepower | sequential production number | 227502 | Wish we had the door tag, but it was misplaced when the body shop built the car, but better than that is the pictures of the original owners just after they bought the car. I also have a single registration from them as well. The original GT exclusive exhaust hangers behind the rear seats. I snapped the picture when we had the interior out of the car. New brake pads . . . A two inch thick pile of recipts dating back to 1994 and through to 2012. A note from the owner. I am a "used car dealer" but before that, I'm an automobile enthusiast. I love original rare and high quality modified vintage cars and over the past decade I've been in business, have come to appreciate an expanding selection of high-demand, high value vehicles. I specialize in and am always on the lookout for cars and trucks that were cherished by their previous owners. I have an experienced eye for quality but I've discovered that my preferred buyer can instantly discern such a vehicle and I have therefore, built my business and reputation around finding these kinds of cars for this type of customer. Super low miles and/or gentle ownership are strict requirements but a car must do something for me on a personal level if there is any hope of convincing you, the bidder, that this is an above average, exceptional vehicle. If nothing about the car excites me, it probably won't do much for you either and I would soon be out of business. With just four employees and no sales people, I realize how unusual a "dealership" like mine may at first glance appear. It has taken great care and effort to create such an organization and often, an unusually high investment in a particular car we are about to list. To sell the best it is critical to have a trusted expert in my corner and Chris, owner of A-Best Auto Repair in Henderson, Nevada has my back. He and his crew can fix anything; from a low budget beater to the absolute most expensive exotic you can name, no job is too big and no small detail unimportant. They do an exhaustive 130 point inspection on each and every vehicle and nothing escapes their methodical investigation. Experience has shown that everything I spend making a car truly "right" will come back to me not only with a higher selling price, but a happy customer that says good things about me. Moreover; it allows my writer to describe the car with ease and confidence, something that simply is not possible unless he thinks it is true. If major issues are found or the cost of fixing the car the way it should be makes it too expensive to sell, my choice is an easy one. I simply absorb a few hundred dollars loss for my trouble and sell it at auction. After the vehicle is fully sorted it arrives at our facility where it encounters the suspicious eye of Tom, my writer that creates the presentations you see on eBay. He believes absolutely nothing I or anyone else tells him about the car as he combs over every inch, researches its history and documents originality and authenticity. Historical significance, rarity, special features, possible modifications and much more are used to accurately describe the vehicle with integrity and honesty. Most important for the potential buyer are the 100 to 150 high resolution pictures that I take myself. The pricey equipment I use would be right at home in the hands of the very best professional photographers and I've developed a logical format that walks you around the entire vehicle with close-up shots of every square inch. I provide detailed views of the interior, under the hood and then put it on a lift to show the undercarriage and confirm that the beauty of the car you are considering is not merely skin deep. Even our detailers are enthusiastic about the cars they so meticulously clean. This reconditioning can sometimes take several days and I've converted a paint booth, especially prepared for the professional clay bar and polishing each car lovingly receives. Usually, I'll also include a high definition video that shows the car doing its thing. If it's a fast car, we film it going fast. If it's a 4x4 you'll see it crawling up a hill. In every case you will hear things like a rumbling exhaust, working sound system and watch the temperature fall on a digital, laser thermometer pointed at an air conditioning vent. How many "dealers" will video a Lotus Esprit doing a buck-eighty? We do. No "dealer," on-line or in the real world, takes it to this level. No other seller or organization provides you, the buyer, with so much information. I do this because it is the only way I can convince a person; often a world away, unable to touch or feel their purchase, that my vehicle is for real and what I say is the truth. All the above is necessary for me to stay in business while keeping integrity intact. I want every buyer to be happy and I need glowing feedback on eBay. To accomplish that I need satisfied customers that are as thrilled with their purchase as I was when I bought it. If you have any questions at all, please call me on my cell at: 702-353-7500. If your inquiry is sincere and your offer serious, you'll find me the most accommodating business partner you've ever dealt with. If you call or e-mail asking for my reserve or "what is my bottom line" I will be looking for ways to politely end the conversation. Until you are ready to actually pull the trigger, I will happily quote you the absolute highest nationally advertised suggested retail price I can find - a number we both know will not buy the car so, don't waste your time, or mine. I am after all, a "used car dealer." Serious buyers know the maximum they can offer. I then must simply decide if I can sell for that number. If you hit the reserve, the decision is no longer mine. I must sell at that number.
