When we designed this kit, we still wanted to keep the clean factory look, even down to the flared out wheel arch which keeps in style with the factory, only to the trained eye or veteran Mustang enthusiast would you notice the flared out body panels, it really becomes apparent when you glance down the side of the body and compare it to the doors straight line design.
Kit includes:Front fenders, rear quarter panels, front valance, front lower spoiler, hood scoop.
The car you see in the pictures has 285/18 tires on a 10.5'' wheel & 335/18 on the rear with a 12.5'' wheel.
You can go wider or narrower depending on the fitment of the panels, we designed the panels to simplify fitment, the actual parts goes from edge to edge of the original panels on the car so you can trim off as you like, the parts itself is a template which will fit right over your sheet metal and you can mark the panel how far you want to trim depends on how much of a wide look you want dependent on your tire & wheel size.
The front fenders are 3" wider than stock & rear quarter panels 4" wider than stock, and they can be adjusted in or out for narrower or wider fit by roughly 1-1.5" by fitment on installation, giving that wide stance look and way wider foot print without tubbing.
In the pic of the sketch it shows your actual part edge (same as factory) and it shows your trim line (roughly 1''-1.5") from the factory edge, please excuse the poor sketch.
This kit will fit 65/66 fastback,coupes or convertibles as the factory panels are all the same from the side profile.
The front valance/apron has been designed to get rid of that ugly gap between the top of the valance and bottom of the bumper edge, so you have a nice clean 3/8" gap all around depending on your bumper.
The hood scoop will clear a 351 block with Edelbrock high rise/airgap intake manifold.
All kits are hand built to order, we use high quality gelcoats for A surface finishes or Duratec Surface Primer, we give you that choice. Lead time is currently 3-4 weeks.
