The Carolina Ford Dealers network being the top sales region of the 5.0 Mustang LX models had the opportunity to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the Ford Mustang in 1989, We have learned Carolina Ford Dealers special ordered 500 white with red trim 5.0 liter Mustang LX models approx 300 were hatchbacks & approx 200 were convertibles and this is one of those cars. All 25th anniversary Carolina Ford Dealers LX models have a DSO# of 22...All special edition CFD models were equipped with the 5.0 liter V8 engine, body styles were limited to LX models only, all in Oxford white (code 9L) with scarlet red (D) interior and each CFD model received unique special 25th anniversary edition decal package in red graphics on lower part of doors, red 25th anniversary floor mats, 25th anniversary key chain and commemorative window sheet. This is a very nice original car and has had years of care and it shows remarkable! Paint is excellent and looks original! Special stripes show excellent! Nice clean undercarrage! Nice clean engine bay! Nice clean original white power top! Super nice red interior and looks great! This car runs out super strong and is mostley stock with some nice up-grades like 16 inch Ford Pony wheels, K & N cold air intake, Flowmaster mufflers, h-pipe, 65mm BBK throttle body with Edelbrock spacer & am/fm/cd otherwise car is all stock!
