Great little shop truck ready to enjoy! Hard to find 1971 Ford F100 Sport Customoriginal short bed pickup. I got this truck along with another classic traded in on a diesel truck a couple months back, the truck is very straight with nice paint but I'd guess it to be a laquer repaint. We cut and buffed the paint and boy what a difference! Can't beat a beautiful black classic short bed truck! Originally the truck was a 390 that was leaking all over,so wewent ahead and pulled the drivetrain andsourced a low mileage 460 in great running shape and put all new fel-pro gaskets, water pump, plugs, wires, cap, rotor, and 600 Edelbrock carb on it. Also the C6 automatic was sent down to the transmission shop for a once over with all new seals, pan gasket, modulator valve and fluid in it as well. Everything under the hood got completely steam washed and freshly painted along with the fresh drivetrain and put back down in the truck. Obviously, belts, hoses, coolant, air filter, new dual exhaust with turbo mufflers and turndowns were installed as well. To give it a classy but stout stance we rebuilt the front king pin suspension, power steering pump and gear box seal kit, all new shocks, and brand new Procomp 20x9's in front and 20x11's out back with brand new tires as well. Huge 315's out back give this truck a great stance! The truck has a dealer installed underdash A/C unit so we replaced the compressor and lines, and converted it to r134a air conditioning! Truck starts perfect, has plenty of power with the big block 460 and runs down the road very strong! It's a great driver!! The truck is super, super clean underneath, and now with everything redone and freshened up under the hood you can show off that big block!

I wanted to have the guys in the shop build a nice little truck someone could enjoy, still use, take to the cruise nights, but not break the bank! Not many short beds around for the Ford guys; we almost went crazy and swapped a twin turbo Powerstroke diesel in it since that's really what we do...diesel trucks! The truck has very nice mostly original interior, we did put a new carpet kit, headliner, and updated cd player with ipod jack.

The paint is very, very nice, and great for a driver, trust me you can't stop and get gas without everybody asking about the truck, great color combination, spray in bedliner, excellent original trim and stainless that has all been polished, and a great drivetrain that you can run on pump gas and easily get parts for if needed! Put your shop name or advertisement on the door and enjoy!
