1970 Ford F100 Sport Custom? runs and drives..SHop truck.

1970 Ford F-100

I bought this truck from a lady who's husband had passed so I do not know the history on the truck but I will do my best to tell you all I do know. I believe and have been told by many the truck is a 1970 model. if it is not I apologize. Sport custom cab. First off the truck does run and drive. IT starts right up, doesn't smoke or knock and shifts great. Has good brakes as well. Truck has a v8 Automatic trans in it. From what I can tell it is a 351C, 351M, or a 400 motor. NOt sure which. A man told me he thinks it is a c6 transmission but I can not be sure of that at all, It does have a one piece driveshaft in it. I think the steering column is out of a little bit later model truck. Also their is a hole in floor where one time it was a floor shift truck. Truck appears to have some new rear brake lines, new shocks in rear, new coil, new plug wires and distributor cap, and some new power steering lines. Underneath the truck has been undercoated and the rearend and brake drums painted. Headlights work on the truck but it does NOT have tail light assembly's or lenses but the wires are there. Interior is fair as you can see in the pics. THis is a fairly rust free truck. Bed is very solid with one small spot under driver side reflector. There is some rust in the passenger side wheel well i tried to picture as well. It does have a rather odd/bad dent in the cab also pictured. Otherwise truck is pretty straight. It is a 70 model and no it isn't a show truck, its a good driver/shop truck once you put tail lights in it. I have been driving it around in day time and it does great. The matching wheel is in the bed, but tire leaks down fast. Tires are older and dry rotted, if was going to drive on highway it will need tires. I have described it best i know how, if any questions just ask. Alabama does not title vehicles this old, so sold with bill of sale only. sold AS IS. for sale locally until reserve is met.
