1923 Ford T-Bucket

T-Buckets remain popular street rods for many reasons. They are a nod to the original hobbyists who started modifying street cars back in the day. They are light and fast, especially with modern running gear. They just look cool. And you probably have your own reasons for wanting one besides those. Check out this sweet ride and see if it stirs your desires.
The shape is timeless, simple, minimalist. These days they get dressed to impress, and are taken out on special occasions. This one started by getting nicely dressed up in a classic red basecoat/clearcoat paint. Its easy to see where the "bucket" term comes from, especially when viewing it from the side. The shorty pickup bed is also part of the appeal of these cars, and looks perfect squeezed in between those massive rear tires. Removing the hood and pushing the front axle all the way forward gives the car that long, low, look, and also enables you to see all the chrome that makes this car shine from that axle at the front, to the differential cover at the back, and from the air scoop at the top, to the suspension and headers along the bottom. Set in a mirrored display case, is the engine in the middle, polished like a fine piece of jewelry. Mirrors placed underneath the car would show that it is as awesome looking as the top side.
Without a roof or a driver's door, your options are open for getting into this T-Bucket. Athletically jump in, climb in, or slide over from the passenger side door courteously provided for you or your guest. Once in, settle into the comfortable, leatherette seats, and soak up the beautiful tan interior that is a perfect complement to the body color. Grab the great looking, tilt, billet steering wheel which feels good in your hands, and check the view out of that upright windshield. The floor shifter looks like a 4-speed, but controls a 3-speed automatic. White Dolphin gauges set in the red dashboard keep track of engine functions, and generously sized pockets in the door panels give you a place to stash belongings out of sight. For your listening pleasure, there is an iPod compatible stereo with a sound bar including a sub level adjustment located at the bottom of the seat driven by a Rockford Fosgate amp in the trunk.
However, the soundtrack you want to listen to might be the sweet sounds of those headers and side-pipes. They shout out the results of the work a GM Crate motor does that has been upgraded up with that awesome intake air scoop, a QFT 4-bbl carb, a hi-rise intake, and Davis unified ignition system. Obviously, a modern radiator has been installed to keep things cool, and braided hoses with billet pulleys keep things turning true and operating reliably. The single leaf front spring and solid axle with radius rods are standard equipment on these cars, and these are also chromed to lead the way down the boulevard with some flash. Power front disc brakes provide whoa power to match the go power, and an adjustable coil over rear suspension, with chrome trailing arms, hold the axle in place, even when that engine is cut loose to set those 29x18.00R15 tires clawing for traction.
Come on down and see if this is the car that stirs your desires. Then get dressed to impress, and create your own special occasions with it.
