It caught all of the other major auto manufacturers by... surprise. It was so popular that through the 1965 model year the Mustang sold 680,989 units, its first year! It remains one of the most collectible and instantly recognizable classic cars worldwide. This particular example was manufactured at the San Jose, CA plant and sold new in Los Angeles, CA. The car still retains its original California black license plates. The car was always garaged, highly maintained and never involved in an accident. It is finished in its original color combination of Night mist Blue Metallic with a white and blue deluxe pony interior and a white convertible top.When we first inspected the car, we were amazed at how well cared for the car was.
