1966 Ford Mustang Pony Interior Blue/White

For sale is a 100% concourse 1966 Mustang convertible with a 200 cubic inch inline six, coupled with a C-4 3 speed automatic transmission. The restoration was done by my restoration shop Resurrections from Rust and completed in August of 2013. The car looks EXACTLY as it would of looked on a Ford dealers showroom floor in 1966.
The car features a "pony interior" with blue and white seats that have the embossed "ponies" on them. The seat belts were professionally restored and have the Ford cloth info on them. The convertible top has the hydraulic lift system. Even the heater plenum is the original pressed cardboard style. The battey is a reproduction autolite. The engine and transmission were rebuilt as well as the differential and steering box. The entire wiring system was replaced with an American made concourse wire harnesses. The car's tires are reproduction bias ply. The air conditioning is original and completely rebuilt and retrofitted to 134A, it works perfectly. There are a little over 6500 miles on the odometer since the rebuild.
The car has taken Gold 3 times at Mustang Club of America's National Shows. It took First place at the Antique Auto Club of America's National Show. Among its many awards are two best of shows, and too many to mention first place awards, the car has never taken anything but first place at every show it was entered in. The car was the cover photo and feature story of Mustang Times as well as Mustang Monthly. It has appeared on PowerNation and the short lived series 36Hours that was on the Travel Channel.
To answer a question many may ask, why I am selling this car? There are several reasons, after 3 car show seasons I am burned out of car shows, I believe the car has reached its pinnacle for me and I am wanting to let another person have it and my restoration business is booming and I just don't have the time to enjoy it as I once did. I will down the road restore another 65-66 Mustang, more than likely a Fastback.
There is no warranty implied or given with the sale of this car. The car has a clear TN title and is currently registered with Antique Auto license plates. A deposit of $15,000 is required 24 hours of the winning bid and the remaining balance is due within 3 days. Basically what this means is don't bid unless you have the money already available to purchase the car. Do NOT ask me to end the auction early. There will be NO refund of deposit once auction ends.
