For sale by a private owner is this original 427/425 h.p. R code Ford Galaxie with the 4-speed top loader transmission and 4.11:1 9" Ford Posi-traction rear.The engine is a period correct 1964 427 Center Oiler with the low riser intake manifold and Holley 650 cfm carburetors.
The current owner purchased the car 5 years ago shortly after the car had a total frame-off restoration.The new owner was so particular, he switched out the '67 vintage 427 side oiler in favor of this totally rebuilt '64 unit.Engine only has 100 miles on since completion.
You will not be disappointed with this car and its performance.

SPECIFICATIONS
ENGINE:
New and totally rebuilt 1964 427 Center Oiler. Block was decked and align honed, rotating assembly was balanced.
Comp Cams solid lifter cam w/ 224 duration @.050 and .540 lift.
Stainless steel 1.75 rocker arm assemblies.
Jet Hot coated factory long tube exhaust manifolds w/cut outs.
2 Holley 650 cfm 4-barrels
2 ½" exhaust with Flow Master mufflers
BODY & PAINT
Original Ford Rangoon Red
Car originated in Southern Ill, but found its way to TX and had a frame-off full restoration.
Glass and chrome are in excellent condition
There is one small blemish shown in the photos, due to a large rock which was thrown up by the rear tire.
INTERIOR
New upholstery throughout in the original stock ford red vinyl.
Owner added a small 'Rally Pack' of gauges including a tachometer and clock

All new ball joints, bushings, and bearings
