Description: 1964 Ford Galaxie 500 repainted in its original Raven Black exterior and with red vinyl interior. Power comes from the original 390 c.i. FE Ford V-8 rated at 300 h.p. It is backed up by Ford’s Cruise-O-Matic 2-speed automatic transmission.

According to the warranty tag and the information provided by the owner, this Galaxie spent most of its life in California and Florida. The frame and body appear to have little to no repair evident and no rust showing.

The interior appears original and in excellent condition without any tears, broken springs, or rips. The power windows work perfectly along with the temperature, speedometer, and odometer. Gas gauge and clock do not work.

The current owner purchased the car 4 years ago from a dealer who indicated he had the car recently repainted; engine was rebuilt with an Edelbrock carburetor added; transmission had been gone over; front and rear suspension had been rebuilt, new fuel tank w/lines, new shocks, and new power brakes had been added.

Since then, the owner upgraded the power brake system with a newer master cylinder and booster along with Wilwood front disc brakes, Classic Auto A/C & heat, Pertronics ignition with a Flame Thrower II coil, dash pad, Vintage Car Audio system with AUX & USB connections, custom steering wheel, Comp Cams vacuum canister, dual exhaust w/MagnaFlow mufflers, new outside mirrors with LED turn signal indicators, and new Diehard battery.

The American Torque Thrust wheels measure 14x6 up front and 14x7 in the rear and wear Hancook 225 x 70R x 14 radial tires.

All the external lights function including turn signals and backup lights as well as the interior courtesy lights.

Total mileage since the rebuild is approximately 2,000.

The Galaxie starts easily, runs strong, and draws attention wherever it goes. Includes original radio and steering wheel.
