Up for sale is a very rare find. Super solid 1976 Ford F-150 Shortbox 4X4. This truck is very, very solid because it has remained in the high mountain desert all it's life. It has been used but never abused. The paint is 100% original and very, very shiny and NO RUST! There are some small dents here and there and many chips as you would expect from a 41 year old truck, but a very nice body overall. The bed is in great shape with no major dents and the front is not bent like most. The tailgate is in very rare excellent condition with only one small dent on the outside near the bottom. Bumpers are straight and shiny with typical wear. The stainless is in very nice condition, only a few minor blemishes. The original engine was rebuilt in 2003 and has only has appox. 1200 miles since. It run perfect, no smoke, and runs cool. The only engine modification was the addition of an Edelbrock 4 Barrel intake and carb., and new dual exhaust. This truck had dealer installed A/C and was taken off at the time of rebuild. I do NOT have the A/C parts. The transmission is original and shifts as new. Transfer case is original and works as new. Dual shock Front Suspension. The front end was rebuilt in 2007 including new hubs. The interior is all new. New carpet, seat, steering wheel, door panels, and dash cap. All the gauges work and the lens is very clear. Heater works excellent. The side glass is very good with very few scratches. There are two chips in the original windshield. The tires are newer and are approx. 90% tread. Original Rare hubcaps. This truck drives very well. Probably as good as it did in 1976. No squeaks or rattles. Very tight, especially for it's age. Trucks like these are very hard to find in such original condition and this solid. I have many more pictures available upon request.
