1970 Mustang Convertible restored

1970 Ford Mustang Standard interior Blue

This is a local car that was bought new at Pulliam Ford in Columbia SC. I have known this Mustang since I restored it in 1992, It was just a repaint, new chrome and weather striping, new top, new carpet and seat covers. The owner was 98 years young when I bought this car from the family. The car was only driven about 2000 milessince I restored it for him. The car is a matching number car, correct paint, engine, transmission, original body panels.The Mustang was restored again in 2009-2011 with a compete rebuild of the drive train except the engine, it has 74K miles on it but has been completely resealed and new Boss 302 oil pump, timing chain,front and rear seals were replaced also and the engine needs nothing.Rod and main Bearings were checked and compression was checkedthey are in prefect condition. The transmission was rebuilt as you can see in pictures. all of the suspension has been replaced, to include newtie rods, inner and outer, lower control arms and upper also (see Pictures), all power steering was rebuilt to include pump, center linkage andcontrol valve. Power Disc-Brakes were installedwith booster and the correct automatic brake arm.Rear suspension has new leaf springs and shackles. Has new shocks front and rear and all new brake lines to include all flex lines, the rearbrake shoes and hardware were replaced.Has new gas tank and sending unit and filler hose.New Magnum 15X7 wheels and center caps and new BGFGoodrich T/A radialstires. The exhaust system was replaced withboss 302 system except the H pipe that was custom made to hook up mufflers and tail pipes. The interior has been restored with new carpet, door panels and all instrument dash panel to include clock in dashwas rebuilt and has the original radio. Interior was repainted to factory and all weather stripping was replaced. The seat covers where replaced in 1992 and still are in near new condition.I have documentation of threebooks oneonover $12000.00in parts and another of the complete history of owners and copy's of titles, Marti auto report, and a 3 inch bookon what was done and information on parts that was installed including pictures of before and after restoration.
