ENGINE:
Open the hood and there is the Original 292 V8 Thunderbird engine rebuilt by a professional Machine shop in January 2016 with less than 200 miles since the rebuild. The 292/312 engine was introduced in 1956 as Fords most sought after option. This "Y Block" is topped with the economical two barrel carburetor (professionally rebuilt) with the correct argent silver OEM air cleaner. Notice the valve covers, these too are the Original OEM valve covers with correct decals. The fuel pump and fuel lines are correct and new. The dual exhaust system was custom made to original OEM specs.
While the engine was removed for rebuilding, the entire engine compartment was detailed back to it's original factory beauty of yesteryear. The voltage regulator, wiper motor, windshield washer reservoir bag, and plug wires were replaced with new OEM style.
BODY AND TRIM
TheVictoria body was completely stripped and painted back to it's original color, Flame Red and Colonial White. The front windshield glass was replaced with new OEM style and OEM gasket. The rear back glass was remove, cleaned and re-installed with new OEM gaskets. The seats and door panels were professionally covered with correct OEM upholstery and new correct red carpet was installed. All of the interior trim pieces were removed and professionally painted. The front and rear bumper were re-chromed and fitted back on the restored bumper brackets.
Check out the OEM LH and RH spotlight / rear view mirror and chrome mounting bezels. Both have been overhauled and detailed back to OEM specs....How cool is that !! They were fitted by a professional on to the body following the original Ford spotlight template. Both spotlights light up just as they did back in the day. The expense to accomplish all of the spotlight restoration and fitting cost over $1,000, but the "coolness" they provide was Well Worth the expense. FENDER SKIRTS: Some buyers like them, others do not. The Mercury Cruiser skirts DO NOT come with the Victoria, but they are available for an additional $500. The skirts were professionally painted with the unique two tone color. See the one picture of the regular skirts on the car and in the trunk either way, the regularskirts come with the Victoria.
IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A PREMIUM COLLECTOR CAR, THIS FORD VICTORIA IS THE RIGHTCHOICE.
