Description:

1969 Ford Mustang Mach1

I have a 1969 Mustang Mach1. It is a good project or parts car. I'd say it's about 90% complete. Options are 390, Auto, Power Steering, Power Disc Brakes, AM 8 track and console. There is some rust in the bottoms of the 1/4s and a small portion of the torque boxes. The rest of the car is solid. The LF fender is not usable and there's some damage above the LR tire. The rest of the body is pretty good.
Missing items - trans crossmember, driveshaft, front lower valance, radiator, a/c compressor and mounting bracket. Also missing original valve covers, air cleaner and carb. The engine is the correct 390GT motor. Intake number C9ZE-9425-B. Date 8L8. The car was built 26L or Nov 26th 1968. The intake still has the aluminum id tag that says 1969, 390 also with a date of 8L. The original exhaust manifold are still on the car.
The Mach1 was parked when it was 10 years old and has been in storage ever since. The 68k miles are the correct miles but they were hard miles. The prev owner never put the title in his name, lost it through the years & then passed away.
There are LOTS of parts in the trunk including an NOS LF headlight bucket, NOS rear brake shoes and an NOS Grille Molding. Not FoMoCo but new rotors, disc brake caliper, brake pads and long thin rocker panel moldings.

I pulled both fenders back and both shock towers have the correct S code vin that matches the data tag for a Royal Maroon 390 Mach1. The vin tag by the dash is not there. The windshield has been replaced - not CarLite. I have no idea why it would be missing. I ran the vin through the NICB database (National Insurance Crime Bureau) It is not a stolen vehicle.

I have the Mach1 advertised elsewhere for $10k just in case someone doesn't want to wait for an auction.
