Car start, run, and drives
Original owner car with dealership paperwork of purchase here on Long Island
Lots of reciepts of maintanance throughout years oil,tune ups,tires,brakes etc etc... including engine rebuild in 2003 and transmission overhaul in 2007.
Car is in overall good shape as expected for age,was kept indoors most of its life

I believe this car is a worthwhile investment for what the market carries for this very sought after item.With that being said, it is not a concourse restoration, but I would say a great deal of money has been spent thus far in its recent time.
Starting with the good....
Starts runs and drives with no mechanical issues . Drive coast to coast no problem. Motor has no ticks,no taps,no smokeAutomatic transmission shifts as it should...center console Lx
Convertible top is new as reciepts show 2014 purchaseElectric toggle works as it should and frame is solid as it goes up and down perfectly
Frame, Floorboard, and important Torque Box are solid as no rot damage is evident.Front end is sound as well as leaf spring connections to rear end frame are perfect as these cars are subject to rot by design.
Interior is in fair shape as LX package is intact. Floorboards,sound matting,carpet look new as redone at some point but no reciept found.Door panels in great shape and courtesy livhts work all around. Dashboard does have an aftermarket radio installed as well as dash speaker and rear seat speaker in place. Most chrome is in good conditon,all knobs are perfect. Xl50, and Galaxie emblems are all there as well.Rear seat is good,and chrome trim and speaker grill perfect.
All glass good...no cracks or chips.All chrome framing on glass is good.
The bad....
Car is satin blackNeeds paint.Repair work has been done to rear quarters and interior trunk sides.There is plastic or fiberglass in those areas only...but smooth and structurally intact
Bumpers both front and back are painted in gold leaf. They are solid but should be rechromedFront grill is good as tail light buckets good.Side moulding good with no damage or missing pieces.
Cosmetic blemishes are easily returned to factory.
For the most part, this is a great candidate for resto investment as it is better than most in the market today.If you know these cars and value achieved, you wil surely see the value in the asking price and LOW reserve set.
