1939 Ford Deluxe Convertible Coupe, Model 91A, All Henry Ford Steel!

Started with a Very Solid Low Mileage Original Car. Restoration with new paint and new chrome done in Oakland, with Correct Wood Grain on the dash and trim. Original steering wheel retaining the stock headlight switch in the center. Driven by the restorer as stock for a couple years, then sold to Bill Monroe (of Moal Coach Builders in Oakland) who converted it to a Hot Rod, keeping the exterior original (other than the stance, wheels & tires).

Conversion includes;

350 4 bolt main engine with Comp Cam, Edelbrock Intake, and Holley 4 barrel Carb.

Block hugger headers & Cherry Bombs for that period sound.

350 automatic with Lokar Shifter.

Magnum Dropped Front Axel with Sway Bar, Power Disc Brakes.

Magnum Parallel Leaf Springs & Traction Bars.

Narrowed Ford 9" Rear with Dutchman Billet Axels, 3.00 ratio and Drum Brakes.

15" Steel Wheels with 40 Standard Caps & Rings.

Big & little bias ply white wall tires for that proper Vintage Hot Rod look.

Convertible Top & Boot of Haartz Sail Cloth by Vintage Auto Upholstery in Walnut Creek, CA.

Interior in Ultra Leather and square weave Carpet, with Wise Guys 6 way electric seat

The original Fuel Gauge, Speedo & Clock works with the rest of the vitals being monitored by SW after market gauges.

Great Driver and fun at the car shows.

Appraised by Classic Auto Appraiser Jeff Hyman at $77,900 in 2014.

Judged Best In Show by Sam Foose and Gill Losi at the Canyon Lake Car Show 2014.

Last year for the Rumble Seat.

Mileage Noted is since restoration (Original Miles Since New Unknown!)
