Description:

1970 Ford Mustang

1970 Mustang Convertible This car was built with a F code 302 V8 from the factory also install aautomaticC4 trans. I believe them to beoriginalto the car. I was told I was the third owner. Car had been sitting for a while before I purchased it so I drain all the gas and added many new parts to make it a driver. Newradiator andfanshrout car runs nice and cool. Took off the oldcarburetorand replaced with a 4 barrelaluminumintake with a new 600 cfm carburetor. Starter was dragging so toss it and put a new one on. Replace the battery andalternator with new ones. Brakes are good has power disc on front and drum on back. This car still has single exhaust on it. Took the stock steel wheel off and added ET mags which are at lease 15yrs old but look like new ones. The car wasoriginallylight IVY YELLOW but was changed to springtime yellow in the late or early 80s. It does need to be repainted and some minor bodywork but can drive as is. The floor pans also were patch back then and stillusable. The frame rails are good and so are the torq boxes. Notice that the driver side front frame rail will need a small patch on the inter-side. The convertible top is good with no tears but looks to beoriginal. All glass is good. I have been driving it back and forth to work and have been getting a lot of attention and thumbs-up even though its not a show car but it does present itself as a timecapsule of a greater era.
