90 pictures below, scroll down to see them all.
HISTORY: My car restoring friend bought the car from a man in Indiana. Indiana guy started restoring the car, he spent tons of money and gave up before finishing the car. He spent lots on things like Flaming River tilt steering column. The body was ready for paint, so we put a local car show quality job on it using PPG base coat/clear coat. He had the 351 engine rebuilt, as well as the C6 automatic transmission. The trunk was full of new parts, we just had to put them on. The biggest thing we did was wiring, guys seem to have big problems with electrical.
VIN is OT02F137431 and the title does match the VIN plate on the car.
MILES: It is reading 49625 today and probally has another 100,000, but you can't tell by looking.
HOW ABOUT RUST ON THE CAR? I see no rust issues. No bubbles in paint, no holes on the under side. You have to look close, but a couple of the floor bottoms have been replaced with the correct metal. The body work was done when we bought the car.
HEAD LIGHTS WORK! TAIL LIGHTS WORK!
TURN SIGNALS WORK! BRAKE LIGHTS WORK!
GAS GAUGE WORKS! OIL AND TEMP GAUGE WORK!
SPEEDOMETER WORKS! RADIO WORKS!
HORN WORKS! WIPERS WORK!
FLAMING RIVER STEERING COLUMN THAT COST A LOT!
HOW IS THE PAINT? I consider it good! Its Fords acapulco blue, thats a dark blue with lots of metallic in it. The body is straight to my eyes with no dents or dings. You have to look to find a spec or tiny flaw. Its painted with 3 coats of PPG base coat and 3 coats of PPG clear coat. We did buff the car, I would wait 6 months and buff it again to make it even slicker. Door jambs and under sides of trunk and hood are painted very nice.
HOW IS THE INTERIOR? Past owner put Mach 1 interior in, it is nice. The only thing I see that is not great is wrinkles in the headliner.
HOW IS THE ENGINE? It is a 351 Cleveland with a Holley dual line carburetor and Edlebrock intake. Past owner said it was rebuilt and I believe it, it is super clean and runs very good. I hear no knock, no rattles and see no blue smoke.
HOW IS THE TRANSMISSION? It was rebuilt by the last owner, it looks fresh and works good. I would probally put a aluminum pan on when I changed the fluild the frist time.
HOW IS THE CHROME? Bumper shine like new, emblems good, windshild chrome great, drip rail chrome nice, back window trim chrome does not fit great.
HOW IS THE GLASS? Windshild looks new, side glass good, back glass has marks from long ago.
HOW IS THE WHEELS? Very nice Magnum 500 wheels.
HOW IS THE TIRES? The BF Goodrich tires look new, they are 215/70/15.
HOW IS THE BRAKES? 4 wheel drums that stop fine to me.
HOW DOES THE CAR DRIVE? It is power steering and to me it drives good.
HOW IS THE EXHAUST? Pipes look new, mufflers are by Flow Master, full tube headers and nice stainless steel tips. It has the deep/loud Muscle Car sound.
WHERE IS THE CAR LOCATED? Here at my home/garage in Athens, Tennessee 37303.
