Up for auction is this famous 1956 Ford Fairlane 4 Door passenger car used in the new (Loving Movie Love Story).
The new movie is about the life and times of Richard and Mildred Loving's love for each other.
The movie was filmed in several locations all through several locations in Virginia 2015.
Just Google (Loving Movie) and you will find additional information about the movie etc.
I bought this car in 2012.
The car was bought brand new in South Carolina by Miss Ida. Her weight was about 90 Lbs.
The car has a 1957 292 Ford Y Block engine with 312 heads, 1957 Cam High Lift Rocker Arms, 4 Barrel Carburetor and dual exhaust.
3 on the tree manual transmission.
She will (Bark The Tires).
Many new parts including new tires.
4 barrel carburetor rebuilt by the Best of the Best Ford Y Block Man Ever Pastor Dan.
No points! Upgraded to Electronic Ignition.
Middle of dash board modified Upgraded with the 1957 Ford Thunderbird Turned Aluminum trim with a T-Bird Turquoise Emblem in the middle of dash.
The front windshield has scratches.
I have a brand new windshield for $200.00 more if the winner would rather have a new windshield.
Just bring a glass rack for transporting the new front windshield.
I always borrow a glass rack from my friends glass shop for transporting glass.
This is up to the winner.
The door windows roll up and down OK but these are the original FOMOCO Ford windows and they have crazing and bubbling on the edges of the window glass from age.
New windlace (44 feet) and new headliner is included but NOT INSTALLED.
The car is prepped for the new windlace and headliner. 8 bow.
The old windlace has been remove and the shark teeth brackets have been removed and numbered and primed.
The shark teeth brackets are ready to install as soon as the new (windlace that is included) is installed.
The kick panel retainers, dash extensions, A upright trim pillars and sun visors have been removed and primed ready for the windlace to go in.
The scuff plates have been removed for the windlace and new screws were purchased for the scuff plates and the new screws with scuff plates are included.
All areas for windlace to install have been primed.
New back window seal from Dennis Carpenter is included. I do not have the auto glass sealer/glue.
Be sure to buy and use glue on the new window seal.
Some pictures are newer than the other pictures and some details may not be evident in my pictures.Both front bench seat and back bench seat has new seat covers.
The fender skirts are Not Included.
Miss Ida moved from South Carolina when (she was older) to Southampton Co Virginia. This is where I bought the car.
I have the bicentennial (1776 1976 Southampton Co metal plate no 7560) that is not the license plate but the county metal plate that will be included.
Recommend for the buyer to come and inspect check and drive the car or send a mechanic or someone to check inspect and drive the car before bidding
