1966 Mustang v8 347 stroker T-5 disc brks 400+hp Pony 1964 65 67 68 17" wheels
1966 Ford Mustang coupe
Selling my unique and very fast 66’ Mustang coupe. Factory C-code pony with zero rust and all original sheet metal. This beauty has a new paint job, custom interior, and a 400+ horsepower engine that’s sure to put a smile on your face. Very reliable and in excellent mechanical shape, can be used as a daily driver today. Lots of mods including Total Control suspension, 4-wheel disc brakes, rack&pinion steering, digital dashgauges and more. Well over $20k spent on restoration work alone. Clean California title in hand registered to my name and ready to be transferred to new owner.
This Mustang was restored two years ago and included the new power-train, paintjob, and interior. The paint looks great, nice two-stage jet-black that’s very straight and shines like new. Original sheet metal throughout with no rust repair or filler spots. All new chrome including bumpers, vent windows, door handles, rocker panel moldings, lights, GT exhaust, GT gas cap, and emblems. Original glass all around with new weather-stripping and 15% tint on windows. Engine has about 10k miles since the rebuild, it was built by Santa Ana Speed shop in Orange County, CA. This thing is fast! Never had it dyno’d but I was told it has over 400 hp to the wheels. 347 stroker kit, Keith Black pistons, AFR heads #1472 ($1,800), Comp cam, roller rockers, long tube Hooker headers with H-pipe and Flowmasters, Edelbrock air gap intake, Holley carb, Mallory Unilite electronic ignition (starts on first key turn even when sitting for weeks), aluminum finned oil pan, hi-flow oil pump & fuel pump, World Class T-5 transmission with stage-3 race clutch (over $3,000), Ford 9” posi rear end, and a few other upgrades I can’t remember at the moment. There’s at least $10k invested on engine, trans, and differential. This car is an absolute blast to drive. Sounds amazing and pulls like a performance Mustang should. Interior looks great with new carpet, door panels, center console, headliner, dash pad, race seats, Dakota digital gauge cluster ($700), and aftermarket stereo with aux hookup, kick panel speakers and 6x9’s in rear deck. Electrical is in good shape and all lights & dash gauges work fine. Over $2k spent on new suspension including adjustable Total Control upper arms, KYB race shocks all around, new bushings, welded sub-frame connectors, lowering springs, Monte Carlo bar, and adjustable strut rods. It has new 17” black Cragar steel wheels with tires at about 80% tread. Car has 4-wheel disc brakes and stops on a dime.
I will have the Mustang available for inspection by any interested buyer during this auction. Message me your phone number and I will call right back to set up and appointment. Please ask questions if you are unsure of anything before bidding. Like any other classic car it’s being sold in AS IS condition with no warranty. Overseas buyers are welcome to bid and I can assist with the shipping process. NO RESERVE listing, car will go to highest bidder no matter what the final price is. View my feedback and bid with confidence. Thanks for viewing my listing.
