1960 Dodge Power Wagon

This is a special Power Wagon with a great history. For 35 years this truck was the personal pride and joy of the late Herb Hob, well know and respected Power Wagon dealer and collector in Oregon, o as you would expect this is a truly outstanding example of the coolest truck ever built.

This beautiful beast rides on 40.7" tall 12.50R20 Michelin Tubeless Radial tires mounted on custom built MRW wheels. The 5 original wheels with nearly new 900x16 military lug tires are also included with the salein the caseyou prefer the stock look and height.

It is an incredible feeling to drive thisbrute and it will put a huge smile on your face, s well as everyone you pass! The original 230 ci flathead straight sixis perfectly tuned, alanced, nd runs great; it is backed by the original 4 speed manual trans. The 4 wheel drive is fully functional, nd itis equipped withWarn lock out hubs. This truck runs, rives, nd stops flawlessly! With the oversized radial tires, nd its well balanced and finely tuned engine, t will run down the road nicely at 60mph. The ride is surprisingly comfortable with the oversized radial tires and great spring action in the seat.

This was never a "work" truck, nd the odometer shows only 22,829 miles. It has had a complete frame off restoration sometime in the recent past. It is not a flawless concours vehicle, ut is very respectable and draws an admiring crowd whenever it stops! There is no rust on the top sideorunderneath the truck. The fenders are perfect, nd the body panels are exceptionally straight. The wood floor in the bed is a beautifulshowpiece with new mahogany wood and several perfect coats of glossy spar varnish.. The original Braden MU2 winch works as it should off the PTO, nd has 200' of new coated cable on it. There is quite a bit of chrome scattered about from the grill, o the driveshaft, o the shovel and axe mounted in the bed, nd various other items on the undercarriage. The upholstery is an absolute work of art. When I purchased the truck it was all yellow and I chose to have the fenders, unning boards, nd nose painted in flat hot rod black to give it some contrast.

I can't praise this truck too much, ut no vehicle is perfect, nd I am a very picky person, o here are what I see as it's less than perfect aspects: Everything works with exception of the fuel gauge and the wipers. There are some small paint chips that have been touched up in the area where the hood meets the cowl. All of these old trucks will mark their spot on your garage floor and this one will too. No warranty is expressed or implied.

If you have been dreaming of owning a classic Power Wagon here is your chance to own one that will be truly admired by everyone that sees it!
