1974 Dodge Ramcharger

Own a piece of history with this very clean example of a 1974 Dodge half door ramcharger SE model. Wearing mostly original paint. Rebuilt 360 originally 318, 727 transmission, rebuilt transfer case and rear differential with new rear driveshaft, rebuilt front drive shaft, and new skyjacker leaf springs on all corners 2.5" lift. New wheels and tires 32/11.5/15. New seat covers and rear side panels made as the originals. The floor pans were almost in perfect condition still wearing all original paint. Original a/c equipped not working. Heater and defrost works well blend box under dash works as it should just no cold air. All gauges work as they should and cleaned up very well. Aftermarket radio CD player works. Runs drives stops great all 4x4 operates properly with the rebuilt np203 T-case making this right an all time 4 wheel drive with a low, high, low lock, high lock and neutral that you can tow this vehicle on the ground without pulling the drive shaft for an unlimited distance up to 55 mph. I am the third owner and you can tell that the first two owners took very good care of it. It still has the original 51 year old carpet that I removed and had professionally cleaned before reinstalling. This thing is a blast to drive ALWAYS getting compliments everywhere I go. This is a very clean body that is mostly original I had the rockers cut off and just behind the rockers on lower quarters and welded new patch panels in. The weld seams are under the trim so there is no Bondo or fillers to hide the seam.I have pictures of the process then repainted the bottom white. The passenger door has had some older work done and the paint is a little off color and starting to crack through the paint. The top is even more rare than the truck itself as the removable top is half door only and this one isn't perfect but it is very clean and almost rust free. There is rust starting with some minor pitting across both sides at bottom pinch weld seams. It's nothing that can't be treated and sealed to get many more years of service from it without doing any repairs. Also one piece of metal has been removed for some reason on the very bottom at the back where the rear driver side bolt would be to secure the top to the bed. The previous owner had two camper shell clamps one on each side that works really well along with the remaining eleven original bolts that hold the top on.
