1963 Dodge Polara Convertible NO RESERVE

Price: - Item location: Walled Lake, Michigan, United States
Description:

1963 Dodge Polara

This is a no reserve auction. I am hoping to get much more than the starting price but that is up to the bidders. High Bid wins my car.

Nice honest original car. Car sat for at least 25 years (documentation). Previous and current owners have replaced parts that are questionable due to sitting for that amount of time.

The cleanest, unrestored, early B body that I have seen in at least 20 years. Even the cowl is solid as are the floors. It appears to me that it had an Earl Scheibb paint job at one time. Also looks like a previous owner had been gathering parts and pieces for restoration or just as spares. He passed away. The gentleman who next had it did quite a bit of work in order to get it going after the long storage. After checking it out, everything that he told me, turned out to be true and exact. It had to be a flip for him.

My intentions were to follow through with some further minor work and add power brakes, air conditioning, hand controls, and a trailer hitch for my wheelchair carrier, in order to enjoy it myself, or to offer it to my kids. Neither worked out so I am willing to sell for what I have in it. Contact me for more information and/or pictures. A prime candidate for a complete restoration or a driver as-is. Runs and shifts great. Absolutely everything, including the gas gage and heater works, except for the clock.

Clean Tennessee title in my name. Currently at my second home in Michigan.

Your time and integrity are important. My time and integrity are also. I am sure that you want a legitimate seller and I sure don't want any scams. Too many of both in today's world. Contact me before bidding if you have fewer than 10 positive feedbacks or if you are not located in the U.S. I reserve the right to reject your bid, otherwise.

When you pick up the car, if it is not as I have described, I will not hold you to the purchase agreement and I will return your deposit, less my listing fees.
