1977 Dodge Monaco Bluesmobile Replica. Runs, Great interior. Was purchased in 2019 for the 2020 Blues Brothers 40th anniversary, which was cancelled.$2800 spent on brakes, electrics and speedo cable in June 22. 74 front and rear clips. 360ci engine.The 74-77 Dodge Monaco's have almost become extinct, finding one is a task in itself. This car started as a clean South Carolina 77 Royal Monaco for all the correct Bluesmobile parts. It now has 74 complete front end sheet metal grille and front bumper, 74 deck lid and rear bumper, tail lights, front seat, Monaco emblems and 74 police Speedometer with the small zero. Working 8 track. The only noticeable differences between the actual film car and this is: Not a 440ci, No 'half ring' on the steering wheel for the horn, electric windows, not manual. The known faults are: Front door locks don't work, only the rear passenger drivers side window opens and closes. (Motor gears worn in other 3) paint starting to crack on passenger side rear post and drivers door inside trim, dash has cracks and finally A/C needs recharging- doesn't cool the car but a slight drop in temperature.Speedometer never worked when purchased, since repair, shows 50% over actual speed.Other than that the car is solid with new battery. The car was driven around Chicago in June with no major hiccups. Mileage is not correct. basing actual around 100,000 Car was only used around 500 miles a year by myself.All in all, for a 44 year old car it's doing good.No warranty is given or implied with the sale of the car.
