1957 Dodge Other Pickups

This incredible 1957 Dodge D300 truck, which I call Hulk, is built to be bulletproof. The body is sitting on a 2001 Dodge Ram 2500, the frame had to be cut 16" to accommodate the cab and its 8ft bed. The front of the truck was widened 9". All steering and suspension was rebuilt with Moog parts. Everything under this truck is from a 2001 Ram 2500 (the diesel tank, the suspension, the 4 disc brakes & etc.) so you'll have a smooth modernride. I didn't want to use the 24v Cumminsengine so I put the most reliable of all engines, the 12v Cummins. We all know Dodge's weakness is the transmission so I wanted something reliable too. Behind the 12v CumminsI installed the monster MercedesG56 6 speed manual transmission with a VALAIR NMU70G56-06 clutch kit with 500HP and 1000 ft lbs of Torque, so you can tow an RV or even a 3 car trailer with no problem. The engine came from a 96 Dodge with 183K P-pump which was modified to gain more power. All gaskets, seals, were changed and the KDP kit was installed. The PCM was deleted and the alternator has a Moparexternal voltageregulator. Plus a 6.7 Cummins new aluminum radiator with an intercooler and Geno's plastic fan 9 blades was also installed for better cooling and power ( I don't likeelectricfans for towing). I had to move the fire wall 2" back to accommodate the engine and do all the floor and transmission tunnel. The original 9 1/2ft bed was shortened to 8ft and the original rear fenders that were in very poor condition were replaced with fiberglass and widened 3" to accommodate the 305/50R20 Toyo tires. I changed all the glass and seals. The door windows were made to be one piece (vent windowswhere deleted). I had to build this myself because there'sno kit you can buy like for Chevys. The dash is from Intellitronix 1965 Chevy Nova, with some modifications fit perfectly and with a Dakota digital speedometer converter that all gauges work perfectly. All electrical was completely custom made for this truck with a L14 Circuit Kwik Wire kit. The interior was made by a famous upholsterer in Miami who used stressed material to give it a touch of an antique look, plus he custom built a Kenwood StereoBluetooth & speakersystem to fit the interior design. I wanted the interior of this truck to be different, so I painted it a lighter green color to differentiate it from the original ugly patina green. This truck runs on a DetroitModsteel 20x8 wheels in the front with 265/50r20 Toyo tires and 20x11 305/50r20 Toyo in the rear. The bed is made of waterproof ArmorGuard gray deck boards. Since I built this truck I have put more than 6k miles on it making several long trips without any problems. It's a reliable daily work truck or leisure ride, you will have lots of attention (if you are a shy person this is not for you). The truck has a Restomod air system that just needs the A/C lines to be finish. It has a new Denso compressor, condense, etc.
The second car is a 1955 Oldsmobilewith an LS3 engine and a 6L90 transmission with completeL8 Circuit Kwik Wire kit. It has a new brake system with front discs. It also has new wheels and Toyo tires. This car only needs a tune-up program and finishing the interior carpet. The seats, doors and headliner are in good condition. I drive this car almost every weekend and it draws a lot of attention. Paint and chrome is descent, not a show car. These are unique cars, I will take separateoffers, I do not prefer trades. These are not cheep builds, I have put thousands of dollars and a lot of time on these vehicles. Please do not waste my time, I'm not desperate, I enjoy riding these vehicles.
