1974 Dodge D100 Pickup

Vehicle Details

We had no intention of selling this 1974 Dodge D100 pickup. We took our time and slowly built it back up from the sad old neglected truck it was when we found it. It seems, however, that we will be moving to the east coast on short notice from San Diego due to a family situation and it would be more logical to sell this vehicle rather than have it transported over 2,500 miles. That being said I personally won't be upset if it doesn't sell.

The motor runs very strong and growls like a Mopar V8 should. The transmision shifts smoothly throughout the gears.

Just about everything is new. New radiator, new nitrogen gass filled tires with less than 10 miles (a $600 value), new fuel pump, new water pump, new timing chain, new timing chain cover, new starter, new brakes all 4 corners, new hoses, new belts, new correct Carter 2 barrel carburetor, new air filter, new main seal, new master cylinder, new oil new oil filter, new fuel filter, new headlights, new bed liner, Redwood planks for the bed(not bolted down), new windshield, new interior carpet, new floor pans, new soundproofing, new door seals, new poly fuel tank located in the back, new old 1960s bench seat with new foam rubber & cover (not bolted in), new spark plugs, new distributor, new spark plug wires.

Over $4,000 spent on bodywork.

Over $3,000 spent on engine work and related components.

BRAND NEW Cooper Discoverer AT tires at $600. The grill is in mint condition. It was an NOS NIB unopened sealed military issue grill which still has the olive green paint on it below the primer.

We will include an excellent set of Mopar sport mirror, the original bottle jack and crowbar, the original windshield wipers, some of the original bed strips and planks, as well as a crate of miscellaneous Mopar Parts & Dodge stuff. Also we are including a new waterproof pickup cover. You could not ask for a better project. All of the hard work has been done and the expensive stuff like the main seal has just been replaced. All That Remains is for the bed & floor to be finished and properly bolted to the frame of the truck. The gauges need to be replaced or repaired, we are including some new correct Mopar gauges. And turn signals need to be installed and wiring troubleshot. We have an original Mopar AM FM radio that comes along with the sale. There is a large Mopar shop repair manual that will cover every aspect of working on this truc, and there are probably some other things that we are forgetting. Feel free to ask questions. After all, it's a big purchase.

We've been running an eBay store now for almost 20 years and our satisfaction rating is at 98%. So we are interested in a mutually satisfactory transaction with someone who realizes they are buying a used vintage pickup that is not perfect and that needs a small amount of work. The odometer and the DMV paperwork suggest that there are in fact less than 60,000 miles on this pickup. We can meet a shipper here in California and make sure that this vehicle gets loaded up and sent on its way to you. Shipping will be at the buyer's expense. Thank you for considering our listing.
