Description:

1941 Dodge Power Wagon

Dodge Power Wagon. This is the half ton version that was produced before the war. They did not carry the Power Wagon badge until 1946. 1941 Dodge WC12 commonly called weapons carrier but could be configured many ways.Mostly original but converted to 12 volt. Quite a bit of work has been done to the truck mechanically. Here’s a partial list of new parts. I have a ton of receipts. New military tires and new chains still in the bags. Knee action shocks rebuilt. New exhaust, gauges, carburetor and intake. Steering wheel, column and gearbox are also new (NOS). Heater plus valves and hoses. Wiper motor. Some weatherstripping and rubber parts. Battery. Cab wood floor and rubber mat. Seat recovered as well as kick panels and door panels. Headliner and surroundings. Tool kit ( axe, shovel and adze). Brake cylinders rebuilt. New gas tank. Both front and rear driveshafts.(NOS) Many other small parts and fittings. Truck starts right up and runs cool. It has the patina of an 80 year old army truck but has been gone through mechanically. Truck is from Arizona and the underside is immaculately clean with original paint. Bottom of the doors are in great shape. There are 80 years worth of dents and dings and holes drilled to mount things over the years. Some welds are sub par. Sturdy and over done but not too pretty. This truck looks good the way it is or could be restomodded. Prices for the civilian closed cab Dodges have trended upward with the Broncos, Blazers and Scouts. These trucks changed very little over time and parts are easy to find and reasonably cheap. This is not an everyday driver as it is geared low and difficult to steer even with the new parts. Power steering kits are available for about a grand. Four wheel drive non synchronized transmission. 116 inch wheelbase. Mileage is exempt but I had to submit a number. Copy of build sheet from Chrysler. You can text me for more info or pictures. 4402280524. Thanks,Jim.
