1972 Dodge Dart Demon, date code correct 340, .030 over, forged pistons, balanced, X heads, port matched, Comp 280 Cam, lifters, and springs, original 4 speed with pistol grip, McCloud dual friction clutch, 3.91 spool with aftermarket axles. New water pump, fuel pump, alternator, hooker headers, Dyno Max mufflers, aluminum radiator, belts and hoses, high torque starter. Runs cool!
This car was a father/son project that I purchased a couple of years ago to add to my collection. All the running gear in the car has been rebuilt. Motor, transmission, rear end, and brakes. Under the hood is very nice. The interior is all original except the carpet and the front seat has been recovered. The spare tire well has been replaced and the original jack, and a spare, are in the trunk. Everything on this car works except the speedometer. Dash lights, reverse indicator light, dome light, glove box light, trunk light, signal lights and signal light indicators on the front fenders, wipers, horn, and even the AM Radio.
The car is virtually rust free with mostly original paint except for what you see in the pictures. The car is tight, drives great down the road, the rear end and transmission are very quiet. The car doesn't have the fender tag but I do have the original build sheet and manual. If you would like to own a 2 year only Demon that will make a very nice car with a new windshield, body work, and paint, this is it! The car is sold as is where is.
