fast run down of history as i know
bought from a neighbor about 3 years ag, they redid alot but the vehical sat for 4 years and we got it as non running with clear title
my son fell in love with this so we did get all up and running and used it for months just driving the neighborhood and was really dependable
what was done before we got it was a new car, and rear frame work
what we redid was install the starte, went thru the fuel and brake lines patched what we could new battery replaced tires and rim, also had to get a set of front seats to work in thi, and for low neighborhood speed raider was fine i think the fastest we had this up to was 55
now about 6 months ago my son got into playing a video game and the raider sat too long and then we had issues with this running
a mech friend of mine did rebuild the carb and we put a new fuel pump on it and we got the raider back to semi running
and by semi running the raider will start right up but bog out when you try to drive so it is no longer dependable

ISSUES AS FAR AS I KNOW
FRAME TIRES BACK HAS BEEN PIECED SO A NEW FRAME WOULD BE NEEDED TO BE OFF ROAD DRIVABLE AND SAFE ON ROAD DRIVEABLE
SHOCK WORKS AND REAR SHOCK MOUNT ON R-SIDE NEEDS TO BE REPLACED [FRAME]
WE DO HAVE THE ORIGINAL BACK SEAT AND ALSO THE AIR CLEANER
WE DO NOT KNOW WHY THE RAIDER BOGS WHEN IT IS PUT INTO DRIVE BUT I DO NOT THINK IT IS A MAJOR ISSUE AS THE MOTOR ITSELF IS GOOD AND RUNS SMOOTH [when in park]
PAINT IS BED LINER SO IF YOU WANTED A SHINNY PAINT JOB THERE WOULD BE WORK IN STRIPPING THE PAINT OFF THIS
AGAIN I RECOMMEND THIS FOR PARTS OR AT LEAST TO SOME ONE WHO WANT A RARE 4WD PROJECT
ALSO BEFORE I GET EMAILS FROM FOLKS THINKING WE ARE CRAZY ASKING THIS MUC, PLEASE KEEP IN MIND RAIDERS ARE RARE AND PARTS ARE IMPOSSIBLE TO GET JUST THE TRANSAXLE AND TRANSMISSION BRING WHAT WE ARE ASKING FOR THE STARTING PRICE
