1954 Dodge Other Pickups

1954 Dodge C-1-B 12 Pickup. All original. I purchased this to use as a daily driver (for fun) but it wound up sitting for the most part. I have too manyprojects and need the space so I am selling this one as well as a number ofsmall bikes (see other listings).
This is a nice rust free truck. No holes, obondo, t has been in warm weather with no snow or salt its whole life.
Pros: All original even down to the oilfilter carriage housing.3 on the tree transmission
Interior is in great shape as seen in the photos.
New battery, ecent oil change (in the process of de-winterizing), ires are all in great shape, ngine runs solid, riginal miles (A-Code).
Nice chrome all the way around.
Allgauges etc work.
Gas tank was recently purged with all gas lines cleaned out, though the carb has notyet been cleaned. Car will start with gas down the carb but I have not yet cleared the carb, ou can see the fuelpump working at this time. I did not want to run anything through the carb until it is cleaned since I just purged the rest of the fuel system.
Cons: Paint appears to have a defective clear coat. It is peeling in a lot of areas. It may need to have a wet sand. If you want it to be perfect it would need a re-paint. The paint as it stands looks good on some areas (like complete fenders) but areas like the doors has clear cracking and peeling. This is how I purchased it. Again a wet sand should get it to look very nice up close, s it sits it looks nice from15 feet away (approximate). Please inquire if this is an issue. There is not underlying body damage in these areas.
It does need either the linkage adjusted or possibly a new clutch. Basically when I drove it here it was havingdifficulty finding 1st gear, ut second third and reverse were fine. I continued to have difficulty putting it into first only, ut when it was in all other gears the clutch felt fine. I am not a mechanic but my initialthought was a simple linkageadjustment. Though this could also be the signs of clutch wear so please understand it could be either.
The Truck has sat since last summer and the breaks have lost pressure. They were working fine when parked but I assume the problem is from sitting with the change in temperature and the age of the vehicle. There was no leaking under the vehicle during itsstorage and all indications are the brake system holds pressure just fine.
To sum it up it has a 230 Flathead Six engine. Manual transmission. Runs well. It is currently winterized and is in the process of de-winterizing. It needs either a linkage adjustment or possibly a clutch. The brakes need bleeding. All lights, urn signals, nd gauges work.
Please ask any questions prior to bidding. Once a bid is placed it is no longernegotiable. I am more interested in the space then the money at this point intime and am selling this with a fair startingprice and a no reserve auction. I purchased it for several thousand more then the current startingprice. This is a great classic truck that will be around for a long time. Of course being that it is 62 years old I can not guarantee the vehicle, owever the listing is accurate. Feel free to text me with questions and/or if you would like to see it prior to bidding.
