Description:

1971 Dodge B300 Van Tradesman

1971 Dodge Tradesman 300 cargo van, 25181 miles as I write this. Original Red Paint, looks more orange (#DT 3116), No rust.
I bought this van a year ago from a fire department where it was stored in the firehouse since 1971 with 20515 miles on the odometer, hence the body is close to excellent, look underneath, original factory paint. The only rust spot is in the lower right rear corner. A few minor bumps and bruises (rear bumper, behind left rear wheel).
I spent last winter turning into a self contained camper so I could sell auto parts and literature at Charlotte and Carlisle. I've decided not to do this anymore, so I am offering the van for sale.
318 2v (carb rebuilt), torqueflite (rebuilt, seals were leaking from so little use, less than 500 miles a year), manual steering, manual brakes (12" because it is a one ton van with a 7700 GVW.) 3.54 rear axle cruises at 65 no problem. New dual exhaust system.
I put 5 new 16.5" radials on the truck when I bought it, yes, the spare is new too.
Tachometer, NOS AM/FM Cassette Stereo, Sirius Radio, CB Radio, Backup Camera, multiple 12 volt outlets, Fog/Driving Lights.
Two auxiliary batteries under bed to run accessories (including radio & CB with a flick of a switch).
Insulated, Paneled, Two roof vents with fans, Heavy duty roof rack, 6-1/2' x 24" bed with batteries under neath, porta potty and a gray water holding tank for the sink. In the left rear corner there is a fresh water tank, which feeds into the sink. Also a hot water heater that will give you warm/hot water for washing.
Storage cabinet behind passenger seat custom built for a cooler, camp stove, and extra storage. Another set of cabinets in the right rear for storage, 12 volt coffee maker included, works great.
Everything shown is included, a turn key camper ready for you to hit the road.
They don't get more original than this one.
