Description:

1962 Dodge Lancer

Ultra Rare 1962Dodge Lancer, virtually untouched as far as I can tell. Red paint has been redone for the stripe in the last 10 years it looks and there is a little white overspray touchup in the edge of the engine bay but paint is excellent for a 62. I have been told that the interior is pretty much all originalwhich leads me to believe that the mileage is real. No smoke or any issues mechanically. Garage kept pretty much its entire life. Engine still has redpaint on it, and intake still has factory red paint on it. In my opinion this is a true 9,000 mile car. Its too clean and starts and drives too well to not be but am not going to guarantee it since i have only had it about a year. Ihave 10 cars and need the garage space. Wife says I have to liquidate some rides. I have only driven it about 3-4 times in thelast year so it's for sale. Clear Green title. Not a perfect car but close! I recommend you coming to inspect in person. It is at my house currently not my shop so i am available during the day 8am-8pm if you setup an appointment or want anindependent inspector to come look for you if you are out of state. Virtually a Zero rust car for a 62. Always in Oklahoma at least the last 20 years minimum. When i got it it had been sitting years in a nice garage. All I did was an exhaust gasket, cleaned the Gas tank out professionally, new fuel pump and started it up and drove it home from the shop. (I did a fuelpump because i thought the gas sending unit was bad, its actually the gauge) the gas gauge is the only thing I can think of thatdoesn't work. Factory AC is freezing cold even on low. It is Push button Shift on the dash (Which is awesome BTW). Turns heads everywhere I go.I've only had itup to 60mph butI'm sure it will do 70-80 without issue but it is only a 4 speed. This will be your only chance to own one of these anywhere for any price. Slant 6. I believe its a 225 but may be a 170 because trunk emblem says 170 but a local classic car guy told me most likely has had the emblem replaced. I make no guarantees as far as that goes, please come look or text me 918-88four-9four21 for any pics of anything you want to see close up or for video of it running and driving or whatever you want. No reserve, It will sell. You are only going to get one shot at buying this car.Good Luck.
