Beautiful 1949 Dodge B1B½ ton pickup truck with pilot house cab. Rebuilt original 218 cid / 95 HP straight six flat-head engine, 4 speed manual transmission, 108 inch wheel base, 6 ½ foot bed.
2 ½ year, 800 hour, frame up restoration completed in spring of 2015. Frame, all body components, and wheels were stripped to bare metal, epoxy primer, seal coat, color, and clear coat. Everything has been done correctly. The engine has about 90 to 95 psi compression on all cylinders. The truck starts right up, has 40 to 50 psi oil pressure, runs at a steady 185°F, drives nice and straight, and has no squeaks or rattles.
Truck has a clean title that matches the numbers on the engine block and the cab door frame. It also has the original license plate from 1949 (which is legal to use in Michigan). The odometer reads 70,000, but there are only about 350 miles since completing of restoration.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: This truck was restored back to factory original condition (exceptions: oil and temp gages, interior trim panels, seat, radial tires, turn signals, fuel filter, rear bumper (it did not have one from factory)).
It was designed to be a farm / delivery / work truck. The top speed is about 55 MPH, but it should normally be driven between 25 to 45 MPH. Please be sure this is what you are looking for before you place a bid. I have seen where some guys will change the rear differential out to a 373 or a 354 and then it can be driven at 65+ MPH for extended distances.
I will only accept cash or cashiers check. I will send the title to the buyer after the check clears. I would like the truck picked up within 10 days of check being cashed. I will help to be sure that truck is safely loaded, but transportation will be paid by the buyer. Call me if you have any questions or need additional information.
