SINISTER BLACK FINISH, STRONG 406 V8 STROKER, BUILDSHEET, SUPER CLEAN MOPAR!
1972 Dodge Charger
The 1972 Dodge Charger has always been an attractive long and sleek machine, and now this one has been given a performance-built V8 so that the motor can back up its appearance. So yes, this is the '70s Charger you always hoped would come from the factory.Let's start with the paint you can't take your eyes off of. It's arguable that black is the best looking color on these Chargers, indeed, it was made sure that the body panels were laser straight so they could accept a professional application of a modern mirror black. Now it has enough clearcoat to make the deep dark appearance look like its protected by a candy shell. Plus, one of the coolest ways to show off a premium black muscle car is with a matching black vinyl roof. The full midnight package is given a cool hint of color with the custom stripe that starts under the windshield and follows the side sheetmetal to accent just how long and curvaceous this design really is. Of course the front end with hidden headlights, big chrome surround, red accent line, and hood pins make this a scary sight in anyone's rear view mirror. The final aggressive touch are the Keystone Klassic wheels staggered in both rim and tire size to give this Charger an intimidating stance. The interior should look familiar to any Mopar fan. The cool shrouded center console is flanked by a pair of high-backed buckets with button-tufted styling. Like the exterior, it is in an immaculate black that tells us all the major components were either well cared for or replaced. This Charger keeps a premium attitude with wood paneling on the steering wheel, dash, console, and door panels. The driver gets a three-spoke steering wheel and just beyond that is a full set of gauges. Everything looks great with all the factory pieces right down to heat/defrost control and factory radio. But just to keep this coupe at its peak enjoyment, upgrades such as additional readouts and a modern AM/FM/CD stereo have been installed just below the dash. The hood on this might say 340, but there is something much more potent under it. It's a 406 cubic-inch stroker V8 with a Holley four-barrel carburetor, hi-rise intake, and ceramic-coated long tube headers. You better believe this Charger now has the kind of power to play with the best from the muscle car era, and the dual exhaust has the rumble to let everyone know that instantly. But some days you just want to take your cool coupe out for a weekend cruise. That's why it also comes with nice driving features such as the three-speed automatic transmission, power steering, and front disc brakes.Complete with its production broadcast sheet, this is a very cool Charger that looks mean and has the power to back it up. Plus, you know Chrysler always had the lowest production numbers around. They say it's Mopar or no car... call us today to find out why!
