This actual car #475 was one of only 1001 produced.
Designed by Carroll Shelby himself while he was on contract to Dodge in the 80's and also working on the Dodge Viper.
This actual car was originally titled to Shelby American Inc of Las Vegas, evada (copy of original title provided) and was Carroll's personal driver.

This actual car #475 was one of only 1001
produced.
Designed by Carroll Shelby himself while he was on contract to Dodge in the 80's and also working on the Dodge Viper.
This very car was originally titled to Shelby American Inc of Las Vegas, evada (copy of original title provided) and was Carroll's personal driver.
This car because of its celebrity status was featured in the 2013 Shelby American Calendar. Copy provided.
It also won the 2013 Mopar Nationals in South Florida and also in Palm Beach.
The car was displayed for a period of time at the Shelby Museum in Las Vegas and most recently was displayed at the Branson Museum.
It comes with a number of display boards speaking to its pedigree and celebrity status. It also comes with a beautifully framed presentation piece with photos of this car along with Carroll Shelby's authentic signature.
HISTORY
Carroll Shelby's good friend, ee Iacocca, sked him to inject some performance excitement into Chrysler Corporation when the company was struggling during the 1980s.
Shelby responded with a series of "pocket rocket" front wheel drive cars that started a trend that continues today.
The Shelby team hot rodded various Chrysler "K Car" models with more horsepower, etter handling and cosmetic changes. These cars included the GLHS, aytona, harger and Shadow based CSX.
In 1966, helby created a special line of Shelby Mustangs for Hertz.
Shelby repeated this in 1988 with the creation of the CSX-T using the "Shadow" body style for the Thrifty Car Rental.
CSX-T stood for Carroll Shelby Experimental - Thrifty
The CSX-T was only sold to Thrifty, nd 1001 were produced.
The CSX-T used a non-intercooled 2.2L Turbo I engine was used.
Upgrades included four-wheel disc brakes, oodyear VR/50 Gatorback tires on 15x6.5 Shelby wheels, pecial body trim, hite paint with silver and blue trim.
The brake proportioning valve and master cylinder were also modified, pecial swaybars added and the pedals provided heel/toe driving capability.
The interior featured a Shelby leather steering wheel and boost gauge; a cassette player was standard.
Each car had a numbered plaque on the dash and this car is number 475.
