This DeSoto Custom S10 Club Coupe is one of a very few completely stock “Seventy-Three Year Old” surviving unrestored 1942 DeSoto Custom Club Coupe.

Engine:Chrysler’s L-head 236.6 cu/in, traight-Six Engine, 09 HP with a Fluid-Drive Three Speed Manual Transmission. This 236.6 Engine is complete and we have not started the engine since we purchased it in 1990.

Equipped:Push-button Radio

Body:This 1942 DeSoto Custom S10 Club Coupe is a piece of history, as built in Canada during the first year of World War II! The body is in great shape other than a few rust spots on the driver’s side rear fender. There is also a 5 by 5 inch hole in the passenger’s side floor panel, small hole in the drivers side (see photos) and trunk. The body is totally solid without rust and is in great shape with little to no dents. This car has been in inside storage for over Twenty years and is completely dry. This is a rare and great original survivor car that must be restored!”

Chrome: Both Front and Rear Bumpers have been re-chromed, ll Front and Rear Bumper-Guards have been re-chromed, oth Front and Rear Side-Surround curved trims have been re-chromed and Both Front Emblem bases have been re-chromed.

Thank you for asking, ere you go, neglected to photograph all the extra parts we had for this car; yes I have the taillights, oth glass lenses are perfect but the metal frames need help, here are also extra fasteners in the wooden box that came with the car. Regarding your question, Will it Run?"The car has been in my warehouse for over Twenty years, never started it. I had a lot of chrome work done and planned to get back to it this summer but things have changed and I have to get rid of most of my cars. As far as I can see, here is NO electrical system issues (Burned or missing wires harnesses). Also as you requested, added picture of the underside of the car.
