This is a 1967 1/2 Datsun 1600 Roadster. Vin number 14261.. Which puts it in it the middle of the 11001 to 17000 true 67 1/2 run.Black gauge trim, ull gray inside windshield, ent frames, oor handle pockets, luminum rear drums,dual tank master brake cylinder, ocking ignition steering whee, 120 mph speed, 000 tach, olt on headrest on seats. Which are in great shape, t is non driving, on running project.. It needs restoration. In and out. This car came from Los Angeles and has been off the road for at least 5 years. It has surface rust and pitting on the the windshield, rille, nd other exterior chrome. Though both bumpers are not bad. This car is not rustfree. But close. Rear passenger lower dogleg has rust. Some bubbling around rear fender wells. The car was repainted years ago and I imagine there is bondo under there somewhere. Though the floors and frame are nice and rustfree. There is some dents here and there,probably while sitting in storage. Front left corner of hood etc. We tried to fire it up but someone put a electronic ignition module in there,, nd did some cobbed up wiring to do something or other.. Which shorted out some wire, Nothing too ba, not to the dash or anywhere close,but it needs fixed before running. We did a compression check and it was pretty much 170PSI straight . Maybe down 2-3 but pretty much straight across. The top frame is in great shape, hough the top is not.Windshield glass is cracked. No door glass in either window. Car has a rollbar installed. Previous owner was trying to get it up and running. And has taken the gas tank out. It is in the trunk. The original Datsun key is included. Works the ignition and door locks, ut not the factory locking gas cap. The original factory radio antenna works well and locks in the down position. And opens with key in slot slick as can be. While not original paint, heels,seat covers, tc, his car has a lot of factory original stuff still there. And in nice shape.Guys are already offering 500 bucks just for the rare as hens teeth headrests. But I think these cars deserve to stay together and get back out on the road where it belongs. It will not take much to get it going again. Putting it here on Ebay as is and will go thu it more if it does not sell. Have way too many cars in front of this one. Early 67 1/2 Roadsters are getting harder to get in any shape for reasonable money these days. Save some serious money here and bring this car back to life. After all it has been thru it deserves it Car has a straight clean California title . Personal inspection is more than welcome at my shop here in Prescott. Or send someone else to check it out . I get over to the Long Beach shippers every week or so . So overseas buyers are more than welcome . Great cars at reasonable money like this do not come across so much any more ..This will be a good one for someone. Will be great project to work on thru the Winter and have a fun driver next year.
