I'm a Z collector selling this for a client. Rare super nice multi time champion production class race car that is easily converted to legal street car... Clear title and vins in tact. It is in excellent condition all around!! This has been a competition car for 30 years... loved and maintained and it shows!! Rare all metal straight body Z car with professional mods. Built L28 with race carbs, 5 speed, Posi R200 rear end. Upgraded suspension, brakes, exhaust, etc. FAST and RELIABLE!! Has functional brake lights and wipers... just needs running / headlights and perhaps a muffler and shes a cool street legal (check your states laws) track day car, auto crosser, canyon bomber, or daily if you like ;). I have converted racers to street cars... I can assist if desired. Very desirable color combo... she's a looker AND a runner! This little Z would be an awesome weekend cruiser, daily driver, or addition to any collection.
The body is basically rust free with no collision damage that I can see. Has a cool patina with a few love marks. Very nice race car style Paint looks period correct and proper. Frame, floors, and chassis are solid... Doors are gutted... they open normally. I have a set of stock doors with windows if desired. Pics tell the story here.
The interior is fabulous as well... Set up for one or 2 seats. Custom Gauges, lights, and electronics all working properly. It does have the propert SCCA cage, fire system, fuel cell etc. if you want to go racing... or easily modded for comfortable street use.
Nicely built L28 motor starts idles and runs fantastic... racing spec SU carbs tuned perfectly! The car has great power... 5-speed Trans shifts smooth and strong through the gears!! Suspension feels tight and provides excellent ride and brakes stop straight and sure. Strong, powerful, and reliable... freshly serviced and tuned... ready to roll!
Overall this is a really cool unique Z in great condition all around. I am a Z collector. This one makes a great investment and/or Awesome Weekend Cruiser, daily driver, or whatever you like. Great for any enthusiast, collector, or anyone looking for a cool and unique Vintage sports car at a great price.
