1983 280ZX T-tops Blue with Blue inerior 70k miles near perfect

1983 Datsun Z-Series T-top

I purchased the car in 2003 from the 2nd owner (family member of the original owner) with about 65k miles on the odometer. All the original components were still on the car including all body parts, adio, peakers, elts, lug wires, xhaust, nd t-top shades/covers. Even the exhaust heat shields are in tact and rust free. There is not a single spot of rust or repair evident. I replaced the plugs, hermostat, ie rod ends, ires, nd muffler shortly after purchase. Recently I replaced the heater control valve with an OEM unit, elts, nd hatch lift shocks. Everything works including the radio, c, ruise, ights, ower antenna, nd voice warning. I have the original window sticker, wners manual, nd documentation.
There is a small dent on the drivers side hood corner where a tool dropped off a shelf as I watched in slow motion as it fell and hit the car (however it is small and you need to be close to see) and the passenger side dash speaker grille shows wear. Mechanically, t runs, hifts, ounds, nd drives perfectly. I have been caught in the rain a few times and remained dry as the t-top seals did their job. The car has set inside a conditioned garage, overed, nd secure as long as I have owned it. As any Z lover knows these cars get more attention than almost anything and are a blast to drive. Pop in an 80's mix tape and enjoy the afternoon with the T-tops off. This is as nearly perfect original specimen of the ZX that you will find and a real time machine. I love this car and hate to sell it but with a family of four this 2-seater gets almost no use. Any work I performed on the car I did with extreme care to preserve the originality.
