1992 Chrysler LeBaron GTC

Up for bid is my 1992 Chrysler LeBaron GTC convertible! If you want a nice, reliable, classic convertible that can actually hold four people reasonably well, this is your car! No transmission failures here since this car has the hard to find 5 speed manual gearbox. Yes, a stick shift LeBaron! There wasn't many, especially with the V6 engine. Another huge plus for this car is the condition. While it has it's fair share of dings, scuffs, and so forth... it's very very clean and not rotten or rusty. I'm pretty sure it's been stored inside all of it's life. Please watch the video to see a good walkaround and come along on a ride!
I've done a ton of work to it to make sure it would be reliable and ready for adventure. The timing belt, water pump, cam and crank seals, spark plugs, pcv valve, valve cover gaskets, radiator, radiator hoses, distributor cap and rotor, shifter cable bushings, Polybushings front engine mount, Polybushings bobble strut, Polybushings transmission mount, fresh coolant, and timing cover gaskets were all replaced late 2018. Rear quarter window assemblies were replaced, exhaust system replacement, power headlight door motor bushings, gauge cluster (odometer gear failed, new cluster shows lower mileage by exactly 35,000 miles) and all four speakers replaced in summer 2019. Rear shocks, driver side rear wheel cylinder, front brake pads and rotors, brake fluid exchange, and rear shoes were done summer 2020. All the power windows, locks, and mirrors work. Handbrake works as well. The radio installed is a AM/FM/CD/Tape combo deck from a 1999 Dodge Caravan and works well enough. Air conditioning is low on charge but compressor does run, this is an r12 system so I haven't messed with it. Power top also operates fine as do the heated backglass and mirrors.
The top is the low point of the car... it has a few spots where it has torn which can be seen in the photos. You can patch this, replace the top, or just not worry about it if you drive with the top down like I have. It's remained in the same shape for the past 4 years. I've always stored the car with the top up inside of a garage since I've had it to make sure it stays as nice as possible. I just took it out for the first time this year and it started right up perfectly but could use a bath from being dusty.
