1965 Chrysler New Yorker Wicked Street Car 500 Cubic Inch Big Block Mopar
1965 Chrysler New Yorker
1965 Chrysler New Yorker This is not your grandpa’s Chrysler. This car is a demon straight from hell with 500 cubic inches of Lucifer infused big block Mopar. If you find the performance of a 5 liter Mustang or LS1 Camaro then this car is not for you. If your horsepower experience consists of a Mustang with flowmaster exhaust and underdrive pullies, do not bother to contact me. This car is not for a beginner and I will not sell it to someone who is inexperienced with this magnitude of a car. This is by no means the fastest car on the planet or pro mod but it makes a lot of horsepower and will get you in trouble, seriously injured or worse if you have never driven a car of this caliber. I refuse to exchange money for someone’s safety or put someone in harms way. There are a bunch more pictures at the bottom of this page.
This car is a real head turner. Besides the fact that this car is a complete bad a$$ street beast, this car can be used for multiple other issues such as – increasing your penis size, erectile dysfunction, saving your marriage, ending your marriage, conquering drug addiction, fooling women into thinking you are attractive, getting laid, resolving midlife crisis, testosterone booster, etc. The list goes on and on. This car is one of the baddest REAL street cars on the road. 100% street car. This car will hook on the street when the tire pressure is lowered to 11-12 psi and the road is mildly prepped. So I’ve heard anyway…….because street racing is illegal.
Here is a video of a start up of the car https://youtu.be/zJF39SZfh8s

This car is heavy as a pregnant elephant. I weighed it the other day on my Intercomp scales and it sits pretty at 4,172 pounds. But the car is all steel and real steel from the 60s, not the half a$$ shit steel being produced today. There are plenty of areas to shave weight from if you so choose. I personally like the fact that the car looks fairly stock on the inside. The car has power windows and power seats. It is an original air conditioning car and I have all of the factory A/C parts that will go with it. This car is rare as well. It is a 2 door hardtop with bucket seats and a factory console and floor shifter. I have only seen 2 others besides this one. From the information I found on the internet, there were less than 2500 New Yorkers made in 1965 that were 2 door cars with bucket seats, console and floor shifter. This car is a rust free beauty that has extensive modifications. The car can be driven anywhere, any time and runs on pump gas. The wipers work, the horn works, etc. The paint is from the late 80s and has flaws because the paint is old and the car gets driven. There are paint chips in a few spots, scratches and other blemishes but from 10 feet away the car is knock out gorgeous. Even close up the car doesn't look bad, it just has some paint wear and tear. The heater hoses are not hooked up because I don’t know if the heater core leaks nor do I care. The heat coming out of the cowl hood keeps the windshield free of fog, frost, dew, etc. The carpet is excellent but the front seats could use some stitching, they’re old. It does need some attention in some areas but nothing that prevents the car from being driven. The vent window motors don't work very well and need to be rebuilt or replaced. The back seat quarter window motors need to be replaced as well as the switches for those 2 windows. The exhaust system should be updated also. Its 2 1/2 inch which is a bit small for this engine and the pipes rattle on the ladder bar crossmember because of how they routed the pipes. There are just turn downs on the mufflers too so the car is a bit noisy inside. I'd suggest ditching the old style mopar alternator and replace it with a GM style one wire set up. The car runs 180-190 degrees no matter how hot it is outside. The transmission runs 150-160 degrees. The car runs great down the highway, shifts good and firm. The ball joints, tie rod ends, brakes, brake hoses, master cylinder and several other items have been recently replaced. J&K Summerfield’s did much of the work.

Feel free to ask any questions. I am open to offers but don’t even think about giving me some stupidly ridiculous low ball offer or I will run your pathetic a$$ over with this car. Realistically, what I’m asking is a small portion of what is invested in this car. If you are serious about the car and have cash, we can negotiate. I do have some flexibility in the price. But don’t mistake my flexibility in the price for a fire sale. I don’t need to sell the car, I want to sell the car to free up some cash but I’m perfectly content with keeping the car and driving it. Clean and clear title. Save this listing or my information or shoot me a message just to keep record of the car if you are interested. If it doesn't sell at the end of this listing, I probably won't relist it but the car will still be for sale. So if it doesn't sell and a month down the road you want to contact me because you are interested in the car, we can talk and try to work something out.
