1951 chevy 3100 other pickups, very good driving truck setting on a S-10 frame
1951 Chevrolet Other Pickups 3100 truck
I have owned this truck for 2 or 3 years. The truck was in primer when I got it. I drove her some before we took it apart to paint. The guy I bought it from did all the running gear and frame swap. The engine started out as a 305 and was built by a professional race shop inTennessee. The engineis much stronger than most of the 350's I have had. I am an LS guy, not a carburetor guy, but this engine has fired up 1st time every time I have started it. The 350-turbo trans was built and shifts great. It has disc brakes front and rear, all new tinted glass with new seals, felt and rubber, new Coy wheels and tires, all the gauges work, it does not have A/C or heat. The truck drives great, would not be afraid to drive it anywhere. This truck looks way better in person than the pictures, unlike most that the pic's make them look better. It does have a nick or two as it is a driver. The tail gate is the only partthat has a couple of dents, my painter got a little tired I think. The truck has the originalcab corners and door bottoms as you can see in the pic's - no rust through anywhere that I could tell.
