1970 Chevrolet Chevelle
Relisting at NO RESERVE. Please don't bid if you can't pay for it. I had it listed several months ago but it didn't sell.
Selling my 1970 Chevelle. It needs a complete restoration. It does not start, run or drive. The engine needs rebuilding. It is a 454 from 1973. It is missing parts. The transmission is a turbo 400 and I'm sure it needs rebuilding also. The drive shaft is missing. The rear end is a 12 bolt, non-posi, with 3:31 gears from 1971.
The body needs a lot of work. The floors and trunk pan need to be replaced. The quarter panel on the driver's side has had some repairs done. The frame is solid but has some pitting at the rear.
I think a previous owner tried to make it look like an SS. It has the round gauges in the dash, SS badges, a cowl hood with pins, and the boxed control arms in the rear. Don't think it's a real SS. I have no paperwork to show it to be true SS. Call it a tribute or clone.
The front seat has been recovered. The rear seat is not. The bumpers and badges appear to be new. I have the carpet also. It has four 14 inch SS wheels.
I have a clear Texas title in my name ready to sign. You are welcome to come see the car in person or send someone. Message me if you need more information or pictures of something.
