1976 Chevrolet 1/2 Ton Pickup

This truck was built to commemorate the special edition "Spirit of 76" Chevy pickup truck, but more so to commemorate the date 1776, in which the USA established ourselves as a free nation. A proud nation in which "We the People" have worked to make this the greatest nation on earth.
As one might expect, people love this truck. Every time you stop, people want to get a closer look, and talk about it.
This is a rust free and solid pickup truck. The undercarriage is very sanitary, the suspension is well built, and very tight. The truck was fitted with a cross over steering system, poly bushings, dropped hangers and heavy duty shackles+ and no lift blocks here!
The engine is a balanced and blueprinted ZZ 350, (approx 400hp) with all the expected components. It is mated to a TH 700-4R overdrive transmission. The engine fires up immediately, runs smoothly, no oil leaks, and no ill engine noises. It even runs cool in this dang Arizona heat. The truck also shifts, and brakes well too. Obviously, PS and PBs. The previous owner (pro engine builder) said that he built this engine approx 5-10k miles ago. The truck was fitted with a nice Flowmaster exhaust system, so this pickup sounds as good as it looks!
This restoration was just completed, with many new parts. Including a new AC/Heat system! Please study the pictures closely.
This "Spirit of 76" truck brings joy out of people like no other classic car I've owned.
* Please note- The Red, White and Blue stripes on the sides are a vinyl wrap, which can easily be removed.
