Beautiful 1949 Chevrolet Styleline Deluxe Convertible. Original Retail for the Sedan was $1,492. The convertible was $2,200.Out of more than a million produced, only 32,392 were convertibles. Power top works perfectly - See video .
This car is my fathers car and has won "Best of Show" multiple times. It has been completely restored with a new top, interior, weather stripping, tires, you name it. My father was recently put in assisted living so we need to sell his car. I apologize as I am not a car guy but will try to answer questions the best I can. I am a 20+ year ebay member with perfect feedback and have always prided myself on successful transactions. My dad told me the engine is not original but a 1953/54 235 6 cylinder engine. 3 speed manual transmission on the column.
The car has been in covered storage for years and just spent 30 days being serviced bumper to bumper by a local shop that specializes in Classic Cars.
